Sorry, got to rant a little, especially considering that comment on the other site. This guy is definitely no master of english himself. Can the moron read? (no offence sly Image) Reasoning is intelligence NOT wisdom. At best the golem would stand at the smaller door and not go through. He would not be able to reason to go to a larger door. I am very seriously considering posting on that site due to that comment against Drakron, but I may not only get banned from that site but maybe from the net. Yes I am that upset at that idiot.

OK enough ranting. Image

I thought about flaming him but don't won't them to figure out what we are doing. Their going to catch on soon enough and strike back here. It might be a good idea to have Buck delete this whole thread to cover our trail. Yes I'm Evil..

As for Slyweasel I have started a thread in the new forum 'Speak your mind' and will be answering your questions there.

I will remove all doubt about whether I am Baassie or not, and I do so by this post.

Bucky offered this post to me because he had faith in me, and considered I was best suited for the job. I see a few messages now - and although they might have been intended somewhat humorous - that criticise my actions.

Mind you, I don't mind criticism, as long as it is constructive, and help me to amend my actions to become better at the job.

Baassie has been a thorn in my (our) side longer, and I was about to write Bucky to do something about him. As Moderator, I can't ban him, that is the sole right of Mr. Satan.

Yes, I have altered one or two messages, deleted a few and such, when the content was either not approptiate to the forum, or there were multi-posts during a forum hick-up. I decided not to alter numerous other messages, despite that they were on the edge of being acceptable. Instead, I've written numerous warnings that you folks should amend, at stick closer to the goal of this forum: discussing Baldur's Gate in all of it's beauty. As of lately (and I mean the past few weeks) the discussions have gone way beyond that, into some really absurd ways. I know I have contributed here and there, but always kept in line as far as I could say.

I must say that I regret having had that confrontation with Drakron, as it not only made him and me feel bad about it, but no doubt all of you who read it.

I don't want to be the harsh and cruel father figure, having to beat you all into obedience when you don't behave, I think you are all smart enough to keep yourself in check. However, from the past few messages here, I believe some of you think I'm too soft??

What would you like me to do? Keep up like I have done so far, or become more strict (meaning I will edit and delete more out-of-context messages)??

You are not here for me, I'm here for you. If you think I'm not doing my job properly I'd like you to voice your criticism (constructive please), so I can see what I do wrong. If you keep it to yourself and get more fed up with what I do, it isn't going to help me AND you.

That's good to hear, Drakron, as I never intended to anger you. Shall we bury the hatchet, and dig it up to fight against him?? Image
