SYMistan - The rules of the game
Well I have been contemplating two ideas. One a new thread for actions and the no spam thread can be considered an information only thread.
Or we do it all in two threads and no need for a third thread.
I would personally prefer a thread called SYMISTAN: Senate - where we haggle in character with no spam at all.
2 no spam threads and 1 spam thread.
1. SYMISTAN - Welcome --------- Can be an information only thread with alot of informal ideas becoming formal.
2. SYMISTAN - Senate ----------- Can be the formal in character discussion and ideas.
3. SYMISTAN - The rules of the game - is for off topic banter and questions and answers and other relevant stuff.
How does that sound? I would like feedback as i am doing this for the first time. So it won't be perfect.

Ok the game starts today. So please decide in your groups what you want to do and post it in the Senate thread in character. So the first is the form of govt. Then who is president or prime minister. Lastly that we declare independence.

I just realized something. Our senate is a total sausage party! There are no women anywhere. Durned extremists casting out the womenfolk. I'm wondering when someone will post something in the senate. I'm sorta waiting for a lead. Not sure how to post.

After a brief consultation with fellow terrorist Giles, the most sensible thing for us would be to occupy the country. I'm sorry for the violence and guntoting right after a war, but it had to be done...
Let the soldiers not constrain the making of laws and constitution and all that.
By the way, if someone tries to defeat our soldiers, we will spread the message of oppression by the Western World, and our support among the Muslims and surrounding countries will grow, so only more soldiers will come and fight, creating a nasty hostile environment. (Read more about it on some intellectual page., or you can just believe me... Also see 'asymmetrical warfare')

Yeah, they're called the United States Marine Corps, did you see how fast they dismantled Afghanitan once it was decided to do so?
Edit: No offense to any other branch, they all played big roles. I just liked the way the USMC sounded.

This is how it works: Al Qa'ida makes a move. The enemy acts back with force. Al Qa'ida says: 'Hey, Muslim brothers! Look! Another example of Western imperialism directed against the Islam world!'
Result --> support grows.
So that's why we deem it important to occupy the country for now.... I don't expect the occupation to last forever, though. At max until the country is organized, but maybe it will be over earlier.

@CM:
The economy as by the CIA World FactBook:
Total Population: 45 million (deaths due to civil war nearly 20 million people (i know its alot but i am just trying to create an extremely bad situation in the country)
you might want to recalculate Symistan's population size. Total population (minus Dagestan, Chechnya and Volgograd) is about 16,527,200... There's no way the country can sustain 45 million people. (let alone 65 even WITH infrastructure etc.) Or is that your intention? That would indeed make an extremely bad situation.

CM, you may want to edit the rosters, due to the recent assasinations. We'll probably need to go with the simple majority. ATM that's 8 out of 14 votes, but we should discuss it in the senate when the time comes.
@Arno, I have a problem with anyone being a terrorist. No more so with you than anyone else though.
1. You sound just like my father when I tried to explain I was 'running' a country. (as a terrorist)
2. Terrorists are nice people, once you get to know them better. They're just a bit old fashion, but we don't hate fable for that either, do we? j/k babylonian hotshot
