Moreover, I believe there are people who sometimes "invade" regions (taking them over by massively moving there, and voting out the delegate and in the end even throwing out the original members, but I might be wrong on the technicalities). As a small region of newbies, we'd be especially vulnerable to all kinds of machinations.
This is true, although you can get protection from a region like Europa (all you have to do is ask nicely, I think). The Europa Army will then purge the invaders as soon as possible.

But would they leave willingly after that? I wouldn't care much to end up like Poland.

Can't you also make it invite only? Or have the delegate ban anyone who enters the region?

yes, they leave as soon as the threat is dealt with. I'm not entirely sure what they expect in return, because I've never researched that (should be on the forums Europa ) , but it will definitely not be much.

@blake: there is the possibility to password protect the region, yes...

The password wouldnt be too hard to get around, its not like it would be a big secret on the forum, and all one would have to do is join, get it, and pass it around...

Well, you could just pm it only to members that are trustworthy... like all posters above me.

Who is to determine who is trustworthy? The delegate? It might work, dont get me wrong, I actually like the idea, just doing the whole 'Devils Advocate' thing here.

I Hope the people dont mind:
"This 'slippery slope' argument has got me thinking," says Police Minister Sue-Ann du Pont. "You know, it would be a lot easier to fight crime if we watched people all the time. Not with cameras, of course. That's clearly an invasion of privacy. But how about a national database of our citizens, coupled with compulsory ID cards and barcoding? It would stop crime dead in its tracks."

Well, there's 14 of us, at least according to my dossier. But I think I'm forgetting someone, and I don't know who (and before you ask, I did count myself).

I have never seen that issue before, but I know at least one SYMcountry who went with that choice.
May I draw your attention to the fact that you share a flag with Phreddie? :p
Yes, I am aware of that. I thought about working on a custom flag, then saw Chim's and realized that he has already created perfection.

Has everyone listed their country publicly? Looking through this thread quickly I only found 5 listed (including myself).

Well, its currently illegal to be a racist, and voting and organ donations are compulsory. I guess I was already heading towards a police state.

Im also Considering having my avatar or a flying goat pic I found for my flag.

At what point are you required to submit your organs to the state? Is there an age limit like Logan's Run, or is it up to the local politician / police?

I want to make it at death or, depending on the persons level of fitness, and in special cases, the level of contribution to the society, at a certain age we kill you and take your organs while they are still usable, this eliminates the problems of old people, and organ shortages (And possibly the organ recipients as well...)

Darzog: check my post on the first page, there are nine nations listed (all those existant at that moment). Others were added later, I've got a total of sixteen GB nations now.

OK, I'm up to 16 including myself. I read through the first time, remembered you putting up that list but for some reason couldn't find it when I looked through again earlier.

Also, is there some way to tag / comment your dossier? I would like to mark the GB nick to each country instead of having to write it down somewhere else. Any way to do that?

Wow, thank you. lol. I just had that vision in my head of using a yin yang, but the best one I found in my initial search was that red/black one. After that, I put it on the red/black matte and "perfection" was born. :D

I've just changed flags recently to reflect certain... changes.

I don't think there's a way of tagging nations in your dossier, but I can update the list I made on the first page. That way it's easy to find.

It's either because I run out of fingers at 10 and counting gets harder, or I only have 12 in my list (including myself). So could someone who has the sixteen put them all in a post please, for the rest of us.

Having a SYM region sounds like a good idea. But I agree that it would probably be best to sent the password on a pm basis, rather than disclosing it publicly. And if a later member decides to join, then if we know the person we can send the password, if they're brand new (or close to), well scrutiny might be needed.

And perfection? Bah! The day a yin-yang signs beats Monty Python's Knights of Ni is the day we know the world is doomed. :p
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

Since I'm the only one that can edit that, apart from SYMmods, I suppose I'm now doomed to keep the list up to date... :p ;)

Spoiler - don't read this Chim
Spoiler
I actually meant that the Knights of Ni was perfection but by the time I realized that wasn't Chim he had already read my message and I didn't wantto be mean. But the yin-yang is nice too.
Lestat updated his post on the first page with everyone's countries. Would someone be nice and send me a telegram with that list so I have it in my messages on the site for easy access? I'll reciprocate if desired.
