"Good idea. I wonder if we should test out the power he mentioned in his note? Feel like teleporting back there?"

"I'm up for that instead of a possible orc attack."
As he says that he puts his hand on your shoulder and with the orb, he obviously thinks of quik's place as you feel yourself being drawn there almost immediatly.
You suddenly see Quik jolt from his study to see what the loud -POP- of the teleport was. He soon finds out it was you two and approaches you.
"Where did you get the orb of the blue dragons? Did you steal it?"
He sounds a little shaken at why you have it.

Dizzily shaking his head, Magrus says "No, he left us this note, here, read it." and procures the note.

-He takes the note and begins reading it-
"This is his writing alright, and that's his signature."
"Very well, I can see that the orb is your property now, but might I still give you knowledge of where you can start to look? I also -might- have another companion for you if he is to show up to this school soon."
"In the mountains of greyhawk in a cave about 35 miles from hegran, there lies an ancient white dragon. In the city of Magic known as Mamogras, you'll find many metallic dragons living there in peace. Finally, in the swamps between Balgera and here is could be a black dragon. All of these dragons are quite old and would not reccomend confronting the chromatic ones just yet. However, if you later were to persuade them into telling you where the orbs were, by speaking with them through there death, or them giving you the knowledge without attacking, this would make it easier on you and the dragons. All the dragons, evil or not, have a pain in them so deep that no mortal could possibly heal them, but the orbs could very well do this."
"Are there any questions," he asks you.

"Another companion would be helpful. Let's hope he shows up soon. Are you suggesting we go in search of these orbs, and avoid asking those dragons about them? Wouldn't they be most likely to have knowledge of them? Also, was there anything else you could tell me about how this thing works, and what it's limitations are?"

"I did indeed say not to ask the dragons about it, but I also said not just yet. You both are just progressing as warriors and to confront greatwyrm right now would be suicide. I'd say, put this quest off for some other things. As you both are novices, I suggest you find a guild to join up in. Most here cost a membership fee of about 100 gold, give or take a few pieces. For you, Magrus, I think you should join the Bladefist guild. They have my reccomendations of you and are willing to accept you in there school as long as you follow there rules. They are on the side of the judicial system, but a little more loose with how you defeat your enemy, though, they forbid slaughter. They will train you in the monk like arts as well as I will teach you my skill as a psyche."

"Hmm, that sounds like a good idea. I'll head over there and see if I can join shortly."
"Was there anything else you needed to discuss before I depart to do that? Oh, wait a moment, here, do you recognize this symbol?"
Magrus pulls the shield out and holds it up to Master Quik.
"We defeated some bandits on the way there and they were claming to be part of a group called "BlackWinter"."

"No, not at all," he says.
"Say, speaking of guilds, do you know of what -Blackwinter- is," dosker steps in.
"They are an elite group of bandits, and I do mean elite, that derive of organized crime and confronting the most powerful politics in the world."
"Really, we ran into a couple of them and they were easier than goblins to deal with," Dosker says.
"That, my friend, is a mystery of it's own. I do not know what happened there, nor who those two were if what you say is true," Quik states. "Unless there is anything else you two need, then I need to get to work on my study. I'm remodeling it to make it a bigger library."

Magrus says "No, nothing else is needed, thank you Master." and glances at Dosker and says "Lets go check out that guild after we've divied up this gear and decided what to do with it eh?"

"Fine by me," he says.
As you two enter the streets, it is littered with civilians. You have even seen some of the rare Genasi (quarter elemental) outsiders, but most of them are just Aasimar and Tiefling. When you enter the general shoppe and the Blacksmith to sell your goods, you get your money's worth out of it.
(Tell me what you are keeping and then sell what you need)

I'm keeping the leather armor I have on. The shield I don't want, the javelins and swords either. Whatever Dosker doesn't want, we can sell the rest and split the dividends.

6 javelins= 6 gold
2 longswords = 30 gold
1 studded leather = 25 gold
Large steel Shield (Blackwinter) = 10 gold
(Anything with an insignia on it is halved by base cost)
+ 42 gold = total 90 gold. portions = 45 each.

I'm going to buy a buckler for my character while I'm here. 15gp.
"Wonderful, was there anything you needed to buy while we are here Dosker or should we set off to inspect that guild Quik mentioned?"
Note, I was keeping one of their armor's, the one I said I put on earlier in the game after we killed those two. Not sure if you remembered that or not.

(I edited the post here a second ago. It should be 45 gold each as indicated now)
"You go to the guild Quik mentioned as it was intended for your presence there. I'm gonna go check somewhere else for now. Probably check out the warrior's guild."
-he goes off to the warrior's guild and leaves you to the guild before you-
A huge monestary stands before you as you approach the monks guild. It is almost as big as Quiks manor and estate, but not quite as big. It is possibly 4 stories tall and as you walk up to the building, there is a sign,
"No shoes in the monestary whatsoever."
As you knock on the door, you hear some footsteps coming to the door. A dwarf opens the door.
"Yes, can I help you," he asks.

"Hello, my name is Magrus, I am a student of Master Quik. I was hoping to garner some information about your guild in hopes of joining if at all possible sir?"

by Siberys
"Master Quik, eh? HAH, that old fool is quite the funny one. Still though, we respect him here enough to let you in, just remember the shoes."
"Oh by the way, I'm Grimgnaw in case you cared at all, but anyway, my master will see you. We just call him master; he has never told us his name to begin with."

by Magrus
Magrus slips his shoes off and sticks them beside the door and says "Thank you Grimgnaw, I'd be most grateful if you'd show me to your master."
Do I need to edit the gold and what not again given that armor thing I mentioned above, or is that why you edited the gold in the first place?

by Siberys
(it should be about 45 gold [44 and 5 silver, but I just round it] that you get as a final answer)
-He leads you into the monestary and down the corridors. He leads you into a much bigger room than what you saw at the beginning and you see an elderly man sitting cross legged on a mat in the middle of the room.-
"How can I be of service," the man asks.

Ok.
Magrus bows to the master and says "Hello, my name is Magrus, I am a student of Master Quik. He advised me to express interest in joining your guild here, I was hoping you could give me some information about how to do this?"

"Ahh, Master Quik is your tutor," he says. "That is good and I will let you join the guild and allow you to progress as a monk and in the psyche arts, however, I will not let you skip by the initiation."
"First, you must solemly swear that you will not kill anyone unless it is absoloutely neccesery. You must also swear that you are dedicated to this monestary and help out here whenever it is needed and asked for."
"Second, if you still accept, you must defeat one of my students by using your fists and your fists alone. If you have learned to use your fists exceptionally, I ask that you NOT imploy any lethal damage to you're opponent. As soon as you complete this task, then you will ascend the rank of adept. This is a one on one battle and no potions, magic items, or armor is to be worn, by the both of you."

BTW here is a pic of the three characters you have met so far.
