Hmm, it's a nice sunny day down this end of the country despite the strong wind.

It is sunny here but very cold. But I gather is it is very snowy further north and in Northern Ireland. Coming this way, no doubt.

Don't know really. It happened like this last year too, as far as I remember. Really good till the end of February, and then some nasty stuff for a wee while. But today it is really bright and still but freezing. Snow to the east of us snow the west of us snow in the north - not much hope of escape

It's not too bad, the snow has stopped now, but they werent sure...

It's just after the prelims, so it's like extended 'study' leave... We'll likely get tomorrow off too

Away sledging soon - I may be 17, but its fun...

@Fiona, Yeah, it's bright and probably very very cold here too.

Oh, you might avoid the snow, sometimes you can completely avoid bad weather and yet the area not so far away in most directions could have been hit...

@ Rav. Just hearing the forecast. Blizzards and strong winds north. Lovely here and in the south west.
Saying hail and snow in the north east and west of England. Good in the south where you are but very icy tonight. And snow here tomorrow. Bah
