@CE why do you think I don't watch football? :D
Congratulations, Georgi!! :D

erm...because we lose when you watch them! ;)

Hey, well done Georgi, a 2:1 is an extremely respectable degree :)

Cheers Kammy... have some cake :D

How are your exams going? :)

Pretty well, in that I've got two left :D
One Monday morning and one Tuesday morning. Then it's over...for ever!!! There's gonna be the party to end all parties Tuesday, I can tell you... :D
The exams have in fact gone a bit better on the whole than I expected. I'm predicting myself ABBB - anything worse would be a disappointment, anything better would be absolutely wonderful :D There's just such a long wait (2 months  ) until I find out... :(

Ah, I remember that... the secret is to forget about them until results day... I'm remarkably good at that. :D ABBB is very respectable as well ;)

I would be out drinking tonight, but none of my friends are around  Damn them!! :D Oh well, good luck with the last two! ;) I'm off to explore Durlag's Tower  Seeya Kammy :)

Forget? What a great idea. I'd probably better not forget my subjects before Tuesday, though :D

Bye, I think I'll go too - a bit slow tonight
Obviously it'll speed up as soon as I go, but...that's all the better for other people, isn't it? :p

It seems I always hang around in this place...DW must be tired of me :D

@Kam: Good to hear your exams were better than you expected, maybe it isn't as catastophic as you thought a couple of weeks ago :)

I'm sure you'll always be welcome wherever you go - on this board anyway :D

Thanks :) I was just overreacting I think, a couple of bad exams had just happened and I was panicking...

@Kam & Mental N: Thank you :D I hope you don't get tired of me since I now have a lot of spare time to hang around here! :D How are you doing?

@Kam: Good to hear :) So will you be able to apply to Bristol or Manchester?

Well I've already applied, it's now about getting the grades. Bristol is my first choice, Manchester my second, but I'm very optimistic (i.e. 99% sure) that I'll get into Bristol.

I think I'm going to bed now, so goodnight (didn't I say that to Georgi about an hour ago? Damn SYM  )

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :) I hope you make it to Bristol! Good night, sleep well.

@C.E you are very welcome here :) , glad you like this house of depravity :D

LMAO....I just had a funny experience. We went to hang out at the nearby "clothes optional beach" for a few hours..... I had dispensed with my Tshirt, and I ran into my supervisor and his partner! I'm not sure if the fact that they were both clothed made the encounter better or worse! :o

I have never had any hang ups about nudity, but meeting somebody you know on a professional basis in circumstances like that is just a shade awkward. :D

How is everyone by the way? :)

My day has been great! :)

There's nothing quite like spending time in the sun with water lapping nearby and snow-covered mountains in the distance....... I often feel very spoiled living where I do.

@Kam: August 15th? Hm, I think I will keep my fingers symbolically crossed then, rather than physical :D

@DW: Good evening and thanks, of course I like a home for the depraved, it's like a second home to me :D

Re your beach experience: ROFL :D Like you, I have absolutely no hang ups about nudity, but I would prefer not to meet my prof without clothes :D It might sound strange, but I'd rather meet him if I was nude and he was clothed, than the other way around - I am pretty comfortable without clothes but I have no idea what he would think.

I am fine thanks, been very lazy the last 2 days :) How about you?

Sounds absolutely wonderful :) *sigh* sometimes I feel far too removed from nature here in the middle of a city...more so now because I haven't had a vacation for 1.5 year, compared to my normal rate of max 0.5 year without wilderness.
