dude, i fought in steel earlier, with armor and real swords. damn shields weigh to much! but it was also my first time fightin in armor like that.

Are you serious? I've wanted to do that for ages! Yeah, it is heavy. I wore a chainmail glove, that alone was a good amount of weight. That's not counting the padding people should wear under a suit of armor like that, and the rest of it. I can't imagine wearing plate armor.

I've held a sword, and I know there's no way I could truly wield one without getting in a lot better shape and building up my upper body strength.

At least you don;t have to wear heavy chain mail for work almost every day. I missed doing that with my friends, I haven't lost my touch though, thankfully.

thank god it was only lether and plates riveted on.... but damn it, its still heavy, sheild was heavy aswell, never really understood how effective a sheild bash was till today!
