Hmm, need to discuss the whole going to canada thing next weekend. Still don't know whats going on exactly.

Umm, Kim sent me a ton of rap the past two days.

Yeah, I agree. The lack of a good electric guitar bothers me quite a bit when it comes to music.

I'm not against rap, I can enjoy certain artists. I just find it cute yet confusing I'm being sent all of this music. The first one was sweet, but that's because she sang it to me months ago.

Is rap even considered singing? I thought it was some form of talking quickly.

Well that first one was a Doors song, definately not rap. Not all of it's been rap. Just found it odd I'm getting rap in my email lately. Some of my friends heads would pop hearing about that.

Yeah, most people hate it and say it's revolting and others swear by it. I just kinda ignore rap in general.

Rap, IHMO is a petty excuse for people to be dumb.

I wish, because the old meaning of "dumb" was someone who couldn't speak. Then rap couldn't exist, because all reppers do is talk.

I can;t understand this "Mike Jones" He says something like Sippin on fo fos and wrapped in fofos or what ever. Horrible if you ask me.

I like monkey's. They make me laugh.

I like that one type of small monkey that can fit on the tip of your index finger, its really small. I lost the pic though.

I want a pet monkey. One that doesn't smell bad. The cute little ones that do flips in the air are cool.

Because a lot of rap is very clever lyrically, can be related to life, and is one of the most intelligent, and free flowing forms of music when it comes to rhyming?

Maybe DZ should form a thread on whether or not rap should be considered music with some arguments for both sides. I'd prefer to remain neutral.

I for one, would participate, probaly alone in the "for" camp. But I'd do it gladly.

Alright, giles, I'll light a thread up and leave it up to you to start with an opening statement for the "for" category.

It's music, I just happen to not like a lot of it.
