That just proves you're the r-word (
responsible). I wouldn't trust me either, but I have no problems with trusting either of you two.
**Takes the spliff and has a quick puff before passing it on**

Well that really depends on the level of experience of the help desk personnels. I chatted to some really smart and polite people but I've also "almost" gotten upset at a few individuals.
The classic case being when I tried to get the Internet connection up and running. They kept wanting my username, but I didn't have an IP so I didn't have a username. Third time we touched upon that subject, I asked for their supervisor or some more experienced person. A nice chap, fixed the problem straight away.
I guess the person in question was just having a bad day, it happens to te best of us

Seeya Beldin.
Curious that there's no Georgeous around, she's normally shown up by now.
Heya Tam.

Greetings all, looks like I just missed Beldin.
As for NWN, damn you people.
Spent my money on those infernal text books.

Sorry, Tam
- here, have a drink! ** pours Tam a GIGGLE to cheer him up

@Ode: it'd be a first if Georgi would let us have the best of her... do you suppose she's fallen ill?

I could technically afford NWN, but it'd leave me more or less broke, and I've got to buy SF2 Turbo and Mario World in a few weeks.
@Eerhardt-I don't know, it's not like her not to show up at all.
Hope she's okay.

Thanks Eery
Must bide my time, and then the game will be mine.
*Meaning I'll save my money and then buy it*

Besides, the first releases of a game are usually still a bit buggy... not having an internet connection at home can really be a problem then...

You could play it at work, although I'm not sure how your co-workers would react to it

They're too busy setting up a Quake LAN Party
** continues his SLURRing ways ** Seriously, they've been moved onto a project for the last 3 months and I've been alone at the Helldesk since.

We do that sometimes too. Nothing like doing a days worth of work in the last 15 minutes.

Awww, you're all concerned, that's so sweet.
Actually I had to help my brother take his computer to some repair place. And I'm just popping in before I go off for the weekend.

@Ode: I'm the only one with hands-on experience with the in-house products and since at least one man had to man the helpdesk, they chose me. From what I hear from my co-workers via e-mail, the project work isn't that great either (mainly system watching and learning operating commands - back-up stuff on tape,... that sort of thing) ** takes a hit on his spliff ** Hi, Georgious, you
almost had us worried, there

Project sounds like the stuff we do, although we're allowed to get it wrong.
