I'm afraid the rumours are not as true as one would hope to believe. I think that too many blokes have cottened on to that fact and have moved there!

As an aside, what does bump do and how does it work (please note i am not bumping i am just curious?)

Then you know Bump is used to bring a topic back to the top of the board, and more times than not serves to annoy (often it is done on the game discussion threads if someone feels they have not had an answer quick enough to their question), other times (esp in SYM) it serves to bring back memories, or invite new people to the board to comment

eg there is a thread that quite often gets bumped, and has since been superceded, that invites GB members to post some information about themselves...

Thanks, Ysh. I'm really not sure how I'm doing, but I've got a doctor's appointment this afternoon, so hopefully I'll find out how I'm doing.

I did not read all of the posts but i got the general feel of the thread. I have been busy finishing my dissertation and I cannot hog the one phone line too often so i have not had much time to wirte replies!

I am watching 10 things i hate about you, which is quite funny as well, so i must apologise if my replies are taking a long time.

@Recoba - good for you for getting the feel of the thread and jumping in. I must admit I am easily intimidated by threads that have a lot of pages/posts... Call me lazy...

You haven't missed anything - this thread is exactly what it says - breathing space - though somehow it has ran a little out of control and become a bar and present home for spam

No worries about how long it takes to post - I took 13 minutes yesterday to double post

Beware - this bar is quiet at the moment - it may well take off at anytime (again!) and usually after I have gone to bed Spammers are so unpredictable, and lurkers more so....

@Yshania - Thanks for the beer! Better be careful that I do not have too much as me and my mates are going out tomorrow night, its the first time we have all met up in about 3 months, what with university and other commitments.

I looked at the thread and it seemed fairly mellow, some threads i am not as sure about and do not want to put my foot in the proverbial.

@SS - lol! I was busy on ICQ - and even then I sent the wrong message to the wrong person...then I quit ICQ, came back to SYM, saw post reply so did. Again

@Recoba - you are wise to tread carefully at the moment But that is understandable - we are normally a happy crowd

@Mr Sleep - I agree with you on the film - just finished watching it and it is a cut above normal comedy films.

@Yshania - I agree it is a troubled time, my sister was in New York on the day, but she was the other side of Manhattan and she was ok. But many people weren't. My sympathies go to them and to their relatives.

Are there any snacks available? I am getting a bit peckish? Thanks.
