Amelie, cute movie.

Is it time to add a 4th thread to the Scattered Embers? Maybe we need a banter thread (because SYM isn't good enough for us ;) ) and a real discussion thread. Seems anything with any content regarding the story is getting lost. Not everyone involved stops by the discussion thread daily (even me), and thus, trying to find anything concrete amidst the clutter could prove frustrating. I know I posted some stuff I would've liked everyone to see, but now it's buried.

Just a thought, I'm as guilty as anyone regarding jib-jabbing in the discussion thread.
Pent up frustration. Sounds like he needs to spend a weekend with you and your crew. Be sure to have a DVD playa handy. Seems to work wonders.
Ha, I'm attempting to work out something so I can spend the weekend dealing with my ex. Apparently, the time she spent with me was the highlight of her life and it went to hell after she left me. Figures. She always did things backwards.

Pent up frustration is easily fixed. Head to your local mall when it's loaded with young people, shout "Hey, Freak!" into the crowd. Any girl that turns around and isn't all sort of upset is free game to be hit on for dirty sex. Ah, good times.

There is the pub thread DW created, which still has a link in my sig. We could always go back to that you know. I tried pushing that and was shot down. :p

Wasn't there a SYM pub for banter? I can't remember...EDIT - Nevermind, Maggie beat me to it (that's a pretty catchy nickname actually) :D

I've never seen Amelie. I was trying to think of a French name, but since I know no French, I could only think of 'Amelie' and 'Chocolat'. I kind of figured that 'Chocolat' isn't exactly a good name for a little girl :D ;)

Links in my sig for the pub. I'll bump it for everyone.

I forgot who started it, Oozit I think. That evil Kitten kept it alive though. That's ok though, better than "Satan" from middle school. Although it did give the right to shout out "Hail Satan" on occasion for comic effect. :o

Regarding the Hey, Freak thing: You're my new hero. I'm not certain the mall is the best location for myself though. I sense a felony.

Yeah, the pub thread would work too, but I'm lazy and would just rather have a banter thread in FF, although that may inherently go against the purpose of fan fiction itself.

 I'm sure she was called something else earlier... :p

@Ned come on, everyone knew the "no spam in the discussion thread" rule wasn't going to last. This is the Dark Flames for goodness' sake!! ;) However, you are right about the story discussion getting lost in spam, but I don't think Buck would thank us for making a spam thread in Fan Fiction and it's such a long way to SYM from here... :D

That's what I just said. :)

And, yes, SYM is so far away. :( My fingers simply cannot do the walking.

Ha, I've been escorted out of the mall more times than it's succeeded but it has worked. :p

I don't care where I post, it's easy enough for me to throw a link up to my sig and simply click to go there for myself. My posts are everywhere in SYM, and scattered through this thread. :o

I'm trying not to start laughing at this but it's sooo hard :D

@Georgi...I changed the name, because I'd originally wanted to try and link her to a character that DW mentioned, but then thought better of it. Too many links between characters would probably make for a really disturbing story.

You know...I never got what the 'tongue out' smilie means. It hurts my head :(

It can mean lots of things, my tongue gets me in trouble in too many ways. That's the most appropriate smiley on that list of them for me SOO I use it most often. Ever got patted on the head by a young lady after complaining that your tongue is sore?

@Demortis, just alter your sig and type in the link you want. There's a little button you can use too and type it in there, the one with the picture of a globe and is that a paperclip?

lol! I see we've all had an active day around here :D

I've personally given up trying to restrict DF spam to the pub thread over in SYM, it's sometimes more fun here anyway ;)

Um, anyway, just wanted to wave before I go off to do a bit of editing :D

It's connotative and full of naughty innuendo.

See what I mean, it is too far. Man, are you alright?!?

*waves* Have fun. I tried, but really, any thread I post in regularly tends to degenerate into a topic of sex or alcohol anyways. :o

That's the one, globe and paperclip. Apparently used to signify attaching the Internet or perhaps the whole world, to your sig or post. We should all be thankful. Until a few years ago, Al Gore was the only one who could do this. :D

Paperclips are awesome. At least that's what my pothead friends say. I don't think they've invented a paperclip that can not be bored to death by being in service of Al Gore however.

@Demo, was the Thir-kreen the lecherous one? That confused the heck out of me.
