:o No-one's amusing me. I'm so fed up I may have to go and watch a soap-opera. A new low :( .

Cuchulain, think about it.*Always* having to show ID. I remember when I was 15+ and someone refusing to sell me a cert 12. DVD. There is never a break :p .

I was just teasing Ravager, I feel your pain. IMO, things like this usually even out over time- when you are old and look young it will be a lot better than being old and looking older.

This is true. When your young, you want to look older, when your old you want to look younger. :p

So I hear. I'll take your word on that and complain if it doesn't work out :p .

At least I don't have problems buying cert 12 DVD's any more thanks to Amazon :p .

Now the problem is with anything 18+ ;) .

I'm going now. Talk to you later guys.

I still get I.D.'d for that stuff too, law made it so your supposed to be I.D.'d unless the person behind the counter can safely assume your 35+ years old.

Have a good night and all that. :p

It is about 30-45 min drive away from Bergen, out by a place called Fanafjorden, It is very idyllic. It's an old boat house which has been remade into a house, right by the sea, but also with a nice forest to walk in.

Sure sounds nice, but I guess you'll be going anyway when your stomach gets better again?

Nice!
They never let us do any interesting experiments in science classes in the UK. The closest thing to excitement here was probably potassium and water which was dangerous enough that only the teacher did it, behind a screen. :p
I suppose the good stuff was in the A-Levels. Probably two minutes of interest in a year of boredom.

Yeah, it did sound a bit too impressive for the curriculum. Isn't that the kind of thing that gets people expelled though :p ?
I think I remember someone who was suspended for causing a small explosion when mixing two chemicals together that they shouldn't have :) .

Nice to see there are other people from the UK on this thread.

It is.... but we did it as subtly as possible (not too subtly - there was a crowd of about 40 people in the toilets, watching us make the hydrogen, then more following us as we set it off :D )

And yup, I've been flying the flag as a heathen in the uk since day one... (well.. about day three, but you know ;) )
