This computer has WMP 9 series . My mum wants to convert some of her CD's to mp3 format and buy an mp3 player.
So I just went to the Microsoft website, tried to download the setup program and then it started installing 9 series again even though that is the same as the one on this computer. Looks like I'm going to have to install some plug-in that allows you to convert the files . I heard you have to pay for WMP 10, though I don't know anymore.
Great, it turns out you have to pay for the plug-ins. Sounds like a conspiracy to me .
Looks like I'm going to have to try CDEx or something else. This PC runs Windows 2000 and WMP 10 needs XP. Typical . I think I'll try something else later on. Talk to you later.
