*Ysh rummages through her box of goodies - then pauses for thought...*
@Recoba - you must have been lurking a while or be an alter-ego

You seem to understand so much about spamming
*Tosses a bag of salted peanuts to Recoba*

Thanks for the snacks, Yshania.
I do not have any alter egos and I expect i am a lurker, as I usually find that after i read all of the replies someone else has already posted my question/comment/useful bit of information, so i end up lurking.
*skillfully manages to spill some beer over himself* oops!
Fortunately it did not go on the laptop! Otherwise i would be in a bit of trouble!

@Recoba - I know what you mean - especially with regards to SoA forum... *shrug*
It is cool in a way that there are so many quick people to help...after a while all the questions have been asked and answered so many times...
I must have posted about 400 posts before I discovered SYM. A lot has changed in here since even then.
There are quite a few people now finding SYM so much sooner - if I had (and had posted at the rate of some

) I calculated I would have had in excess of 4000 posts...
You will enjoy it in here I am sure

*mops up the rest of the mess*
Thanks! I agree with you on the SoA board...there is answers for everything under the sun (and in the underdark!) for anything and everything. I am thinking of getting Throne of Bhaal to finish the story, but not just when I start my new job (i need to look semi-interested!) so i may have to wait a bit on that one.

*magically appears in a corner of the bar in a flash of feathers, tiger striped laser light, and silly string*
*brushes off silly string and feathers and walks over to sit at the bar* Sorry for not showing up in a few days, and sorry about the silly string and feathers, I'll clean those up later.
*nudges SS in the ribs* Hey, share some of your Dr. Pepper with me!

@Random Shadow - welcome!

Glad to see SS is taking care of the bar in my absence...
BTW - care not for the silly string - it has been the least of the damage in here this last day or so

It just takes time. Try just drinking half a liter at a time. Remember, I've been drinking Dr. Pepper like this for three years now.
*gets herself another 5 liter bottle of Dr. Pepper*

If you need any Lonestar(the band) just ask me. I can find just about any country music somewhere in my house. Some of it is on record, some on tape, some on CD, and the rest on mp3s.

Just don't ask me for any Dwight Yokam. *shudders*

he has soem really good stuff..."you're the one"; "ain't that lonely yet"

From a Distance (the Nanci Griffith version)
From a distance the world looks blue and grey and the snow capped mountains white,
And from a distance the ocean meets the stream, and the eagle takes to flight.
From a distance there is harmony and it echoes through the land,
and it's the voice of hope, it's the voice of peace, it's the voice of every man.
From a distance we all have enough, and no-one is in need,
and there are no guns, no bombs, no disease - there's no hungry mouths to feed.
From a distance we are instruments, and we're marching in a common band,
playing songs of hope, playing songs of peace, they're the songs of every man.
God is watching us, God is watching us, God is watching us - from a distance...
From a distance you look like my friend, even though we are at war,
from a distance I can't comprehend what all this war is for,
and from a distance there is harmony, and it echoes through the land,
and it's hope of hopes, it's the love of loves, it's the heart of every man....
it is the hope of hopes, it's the love of loves, this is the song of every man.

moe bandy, "two beers away"
chorus:
i'm two beers away
from a beautiful day
after a night on the town
i'm two beers away
from a beautiful day
if i can just keep them down
woke up this morning
with moss on my tongue
my head sounding just like a cave
tryign to remember the things that i've done
i wish i'd learn to behave
jump like a rabbit when i heard that alarm
time ot get back in the race
two cans of breakfast won't do me no harm
i'll shave when i find my face.
chorus
newsman is saying conditions are poor
weatherman says it might rain
well, i know the causes and i know the cures
for all this self inflicted pain
chorus
if your healthy and happy,
take my advice
what's good for me, ain't for you
stay with your diet of water and ice
right now we've got something to do
*psht* *psht*
chorus
