Hi, I decided to come back a bit early. You still around, Maggie?
How do you check the amount of posts per poster then?
Done anything good yet, other than being on this thread all day
?

Hey, I took a two hour nap, and I wasn't precisely "on this thread all day". I've been browsing quite a few forums and such attempting to keep busy. I was telling past work horror stories somewhere else where
the tale of the teen girl cashier whom was amazed by the wondrous Tin Can of Soda and said "Hey, wassat!?" was horribly ridiculed for the amusement of those around me.
Oh, click on the number of posts per thread section on the forum index of threads. It should give you a pop-up of who posted how many times in that thread alone.

I wasn't trying to offend you, Maggie.
It just looked like you'd been around all day.
Er, any other 'past work horror stories'?

I'm not all that easily offended, amused yes, not offended.
Hmm, I just got a government letter letting me know that the cost of drugs is rising. Gee, thats awesome cuz I could really use some!

So someone's starting a political campaign to lower the cost, I suppose?
You're getting snappy, Maggie. Calm down

Apparently Bush has done some things that while most undoubtable for helping his nose candy issues, benefits us all.
(Sorry, couldn't resist, some crap about prescriptions, which really I think I may delve into hardcore drugs than try some of those "medications" out there on the market.
They're proven to be safer some of them.)
I'm running on two hours sleep in near 48 hours. Looky looky, insomnia's creeping back in. Prepare for the return of alcohol induced posting on monday night when I have money again.

Back to normal service, then?

That's the US for you. Health and profit combine and you end up in an ethical and moral minefield

Woohoo! It's more fun and excitement than playing in traffic!
I feel like I should wear a sign that says
"Free sarcasm samples" and see how people react today. I'm in one of those very sarcastic moods at the moment for some reason.

I'm just sarcastic generally. Now you just seem to be particularly snappy this afternoon

I have a hard time being sarcastic, I'm not that witty.

"Snappy" makes me think of my old friend Sam. Sam was a cross-dressing puerto-rican gay man who wanted me to write him erotica. While honored he thought me a good enough writer to do this, I had a hard time thinking of why he'd ask a straight man to write gay erotica out of the blue, and somewhat freaked out.
I don't think I'm snappy. I think I'm sleep deprived and sarcastic. Maybe a little umm, oh there's a filter. One of those words your not supposed to say about a dog.

Another random story!
It gets better and better.

Thank you, thank you. Hmm, I kind of like this period, when I'm lacking the sleep I need, but before sleep deprivation sets in. It's a wonderful type of mood it puts me in.
Have you ever asked a complete stranger "what's a rainbow taste like?" with the most spaced out look and voice you can manage without cracking up in the middle of it?

Isn't that the delusional period
?
Maybe that's more of a unique experience for you. Though it does sound good

Ha, I pulled that one a few years back. The person glared at me and asked what the heck I was on. I said "I'm high on life! Got any glue?" they could not stop laughing, that's when I poked him and asked again. Had the guy in tears. Then I had to leave because I was causing a "disturbance". Stupid security.

Well, at least he saw the funny side of it.

Indeed, he said I'd made his day. The guard didn't think I was funny. Spoil sport. I didn't break or steal anything, just made a guy break out into hysterical laughter.

Good job there weren't any police around then. Disturbing the peace
