"That blasted dwarf, damn his eyes!" I hiss as I draw back into the alley, doing all that I can to stay out of sight. "With all those Eroln around and suspicious, I'll never be able to slip out unnoticed, and Vhaeraun may have a task for me, but He certainly isn't going to help me fight 30-odd opponents, just to escape and maybe save one of his devout. No, I have to get out...and now."
I pause as an idea strikes me "Where did that Kobold get to? If I can get that bad-tempered brute of a mount of mine back, maybe -just maybe- I can bluff my way though."
Spot: D20+4=16+4=20
Listen: D20+4=2+4=6
Int (searching through my memory, really): D20+0=18
Survival: D20+2=1+2=3
Gather Information: D20+2=20+2=22
Search: D20+2=20+2=22 (Coo...a 1 followed by two 20's)
Hopefully one of those rolls does something useful. If I have no luck finding the Kobold whatsoever, I make the best of a bad situation and try to get down into the sewers, or at least secrete myself somewhere to hide from Drow hunters
Survival: D20=2=10+2=12
Spot: D20+4=16+4=20
Hide: D20+5-1=19+4=23
Move Silently: D20+3-1=3+2=5
Make any further rolls as needed

"EEEHHP" I screech as I ran back (move action) then I cast on myself "mirror Image" "HELP!"
Arvall
(seeing that black is missing I'll put Arvall to sleep so he can keep up with the others)

I state my offer as before with the diplomacy. If he goes with the idea, then so be it.Not too sure if you still wanted to make the offer, if you do. Then you may mention that and I'll keep the high diplomacy roll.
However, if he still wants to attack me-
"In that case, if you are the one who holds his life in your hands by that axe, then if I beat you he's mine. Understood?"
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.

My Farewell
Dear Fellow Players,
I regret to announce this will be my final post in gamebanshee's D&D campaign. I'm sorry to disappoint any new players who were really hoping to get into the game and just made 1 or 2 posts and I'm also sorry to let down the players who've been around since page 1 of the thread.
It's nobody's fault that this all happened... I Thought I could keep doing this but, currently my life is very complicated and very busy. And it's only going to get worse. I don't really want to unload my entire life onto a website, and really it's alot of personal stuff so I know this is going to come off as a cop-out but that's how it is.
I really want to thank all the players having played, and rather than just ending on a crummy note for some of my older players I thought I'd have "Achievements" for some of the older ones.
Brauer: Hogwart's Idol, Won the magic contest against Cid, who was twice your level in wands.
Jarrackt: Bold Entrance, For rolling a 1 on your very first move silently roll, thus making a bold fire-work laden entrance instead of sneaking.
Belfore: Mario Fail, for falling into the spikes when you could have avoided jumping into them all-together.
Whistler: Inventor, for mentioning the printing press in a medieval game, thus having me actually add it into the campaign (although it never showed up). Thus Whistler invented the printing press.
Khannon: Golden Fist, for taking out a mini-boss in a single hit. The grizzled orc who challenged you to a duel back in Fort Helmlock after the 'chopbrawler' game was actually a mini-boss.
Rhag'nuul: Lord of Darkness, used the Derro darkness ability 10 times or more in a single dungeon (fort Helmlock)
Cernd-ar: Boogieman, for having ruined his surprise entrance sneaking into the tavern by popping up through a trapdoor only to be under a carpet.
Arvall: Home wrecker, managed to destroy an entire town filled with the Forgotten.
Ven'atar: Back-seat Cowboy, for getting dragged by a steed for several rounds after falling off.
So that was my final post ever. Once again I'm truly sorry about everything.. However I believe there is actually one player who had talked to me about wanting to start a campaign of his own. Won't name names in case they don't want the responsibility, but this is the time to take over if they wish.

I hope things don't get too busy that you work yourself to death dude. I'm really glad someone like you came along and sparked a newfound interest in this forum, as it had been dead for so long before that.
In any case, if you find you ever have some free time, don't let it discourage you from joining someone else's game as a player instead of a DM. Much less work being a player afterall.
