I've been told by numerous females that my imagination is superb, thank you. Now, if I can only get that little dancer lady to understand the glories of my imagination and the uses I could put it to. My night would be complete and wonderful.
British tanks have bars?! What the heck is wrong with my country?!

No abbrivations
Ok
You are going to build a piece of furniture in an ordinary room strong enough so that you can hang a coat on it. To aid you, you have two 2 meter long wooden pipes and a clamp

'Wooden Pipes' ?!
What good are 2 of those?
What about a tea table? If one of those exists.
Stand one pipe upright and then clamp the other to it, so it looks like a 'T'.
There a 't' table
.
And tanks don't have bars here, Mag. Just the Airbus A380
.

Lol, you know. Wodden pipes as the shaft of a broom or something like that.
And no, a "T" can't stand on it's own

What about an upside-down T?
Damn, that's me out of ideas for now.
So, hollow wooden pipes?
It's nothing to do with hanging coats is it? Oooh, a primitive coat hanger (made out of wood, not metal) and a clamp that holds it to a peg or something
.

My friend built one of those, he spilled smelly water all over my cds with it though when he was all sorts of messed up from testing it out.

Crazy Europeans and calling things what they aren't. "Pipes" have a hole through the center of them, allowing foreign substances to flow through them friend.

Send one here, I need alcohol, stat.

An uptside "T" can't stand on it's own. remember, it must be strong enough for you to hang a coat on
The pipes are not hollow (sorry for calling them pipes, but I couldn't think of a better word)

I agree with Mag. No need to confuse us, calling them pipes, we're simpler than that in the UK.
I think the plane might be slightly out of your market, Mag. And they might miss it.
Wish I could help
.
YELTSU. Make your mind up
. Try calling them poles.
Let's see - the clamp holds the coat, 1 pole to hold it above the ground. Can you cut the poles up?

Bah for them missing it. I want vodka or rum enough to make the world spin in THREE directions at once. *nods* Definately 3.

Bah, gimme another word then, I am after all from the frozen fjords of Norway, where we have polar bears in the street, and trolls frequently harass old ladies.
go on ravager you can do it, it's not THAT hard

Only 3, Maggie?
Isn't that a half-measure for you?

No cutting.
Aww, you are getting close ravager!

Monkeys are snobbish hairy creatures with three legs. *nods*

Dammit, Yeltsu, I had trouble finding out your old name, remember?
Polar Bears in the street, I saw a documentary about that, not in Norway, though - Churchill, Canada Ithink. As for the trolls,
someone's been playing too much BG
.
And I gave you a name - POLES.
Are they flexible or better yet balsa wood? Balsa wood is good, probably as flexible as a balloon.

What, you're going delusional now?
Monkeys are probably only snobbish when you stop them getting at a banana in your hand
.
Can you support this pathetic coat hanging apparatus against other furniture?
Posted: Mon Aug 01, 2005 3:36 am
by Yeltsu
Not flexible. hard POLES!
And us Norwegians invented trolls, so HA!
there is no other furniture there, just an empty ordinary room
Posted: Mon Aug 01, 2005 3:37 am

I shall have to tell you the story of the three-legged monkey with a monacle and top hat. Not now though, it's too risky.

Darn.
And the English invented the excellent Queen's English accent... and sandwiches. And it's warmer here... so HA!!
So, like I said support it against other stuff?
So, when I was getting close - free-standing on the ground or like a metal coat hanger (just made out of wooden poles - jungle style
).

"Excellent Queen's Accent"? Isn't that a paradox?
Posted: Mon Aug 01, 2005 3:40 am
by Yeltsu
Pah, we beat you to the north (or south ?) poles so HA!
and no, no supporting it against something else, it's just an empty ordinary room
