For the whole leavers week I couldn't be bothered trying to pick up once, though there weren't many ladies I was all that keen on who were available either. And I was quite heavily stoned for most of the week.

I find my attention span goes right out the window, and I just notice everything that goes on around me with a sort of detached bemusement. Until someone talks to me at least, and then I usually get drawn off on a tangent until I get distracted again. I always get sort of "classic" moments, like the kind the Simpsons is so good at summing up. I often wish I could draw some of the scenes, but my coordination always suffers terribly. I don't get the dry mouth that a lot of people experience, at least, but I do get terrible redeye.

Beldin:

I'm more of the thirsty variety. Red eyes - yes, but not very strong. But all my appetites are enhanced. Thirst, hunger, ..... -ahem- let's just stick to "ALL" of them.. ;) ....

My s.o. on the other hand gets mostly thirsty (I've never seen a relatively small girl drink SO much in one go....) - We have to be careful not to start drinking alcohol when thrashed - that would be her death... ;)

So while having a quiet smoke we mostly stick to water and some juices (Orange, apple,...) ... and S.S.S.I.'s of course....

And I won't comment on her OTHER appetites. She'd kill me :D ;) .

I usually keep my fluid intakes up, but it's mostly soft drinks and coffee. I can down cold pizza at incredible rates, though. :D I'm pretty thin, so it's always sort of funny seeing my friends' expressions the next morning when we try and remember what we did the night before.

BTW, you can drink alcohol after toking up and be more or less okay, it's drinking and then smoking that really kills you. Never drink then smoke if you have good carpets, or you won't have good carpets the next morning.

@KidD01-On your bed is worse, trust me. I have a four-foot high double bed in my railway carriage, and getting down from there after a hard night's celebration is an incredible feat in itself. And the wind always blows out the lighter outside, so you have to stick to joints which means you can only use low-grade stuff, as the better quality herb is wasted in joints.

@Beldin-G'night mate, seeya tomorrow.

I don't normally but it was a special occasion (I think). Smoking herb is a different matter, though; the carriage has the perfect ambience (not to mention a TV, my stereo, a VCR and my N64) to keep myself and my stoner friends happy.

Anyway, it's late here, so good night @all.

Phew, gotta hate those Lusers ;) - I'll be off soon enough too ** starts cleaning up the mess, caused by the Wail of the Banshee C0cktail's side-effect, since Eerhardt apparently is on clean-up duty  **

I'll usually take clean-up duty and do it "behind-the-scenes" but after those Wail c0cktails I'm not going near that bar.

We could use some help anyway....running "Rolling Thunder (tm) - The Mobile Party Thread" is getting more and more a FULL TIME job.... :D . Why don't you join ?

**hands Tamerlane a big pint of black beer**
Ahh the sweet siren call of the SLURR's

Who can say no to the magical black beer

And why not join up with us for a while to see if you like it? You don't have to be a SLURR, but it helps.
No CV or references required, by the way. I can vouch for you, all you have to do is pass the drinking test. Permanent crew get access to Manuals of Bodily Health to increase their Constitution to 25 to allow for more drinking capacity
As tempting as that may sound, I thrive on my neutral status. I'll give a good word about you guys at the expense of COMM's DF's etc. ;) :D

Good, that was the idea... :p

I was worried that he might pick up on the fact that Mercutio is quite obviously the best (and most charismatic) character in the play... *phew* Safe there... :o ;)

Yes, but he died. According to your smiley anyway.

You can't expect me to know every one of Shakespeares plays. :p
