It would be pretty stupid if they wouldn't show it on this E3, if its coming out late 2006/early 2007, hopefully it will be shown on E3 2007, or it will be shown at some other electronic entertainment show. Like on the Power Unlimited gaming expo

Its highly unlikely that it will be released in late 2006/early 2007. If this was the case then surely they would have already started the media hype and publicising its release. Gothic 3 is supposed to be released late 2006 and this game has been publicised as being released then for a while now and is at E3. I wouldn't expect it til late 2007 or even 2008 or beyond.

Yup. Can't agree more. Anyway, when I was watching the Neverwinter Nights 2 E3 video demonstration on Gamespot, the CEO of Obsidian Entertainment, Feragus Urquhart, mentioned nothing about a KOTOR 3 save for some other titles in development and that's it.

Most likely yes.

I'd rather wait for the next E3. The next gaming expo will be TGS (Tokyo Game Show) but I won't be expecting KOTOR 3 to make a showing there as that game show is focused mainly on Japanese games and very few foreign titles.

"A few no shows at the event included KOTOR III and, surprise surprise, Star Wars Galaxies. The MMORPG seems to be lacking of late, and with no expansion packs in sight for the time being, LucasArts may have finally let the title slide past. As for KOTOR, which was 20/80 whether it would make an appearance or not, don't take that as an answer on whether it exists. It's out there, don't you worry about that."

I dont care if it debuts this year, or which event it debuts at, just as long as it does get shown off in a year or so, and the one doing all the show & telling is Bioware.

Don't expect Bioware to develop the next KOTOR. They're currently focused on some other titles like Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
We'll just have to see who Lucasarts hand the development of the next KOTOR to (maybe Lionhead Studios? Kidding:laugh:.)

Hello eveyone
I PM'ed Feargus Urquhart from obsidian and asked about whether they will ever do Kotor III and this is a reply I got in my PM box from Feargus Urquhart:
Hi,
It's tough for me to talk about KotOR3 specifically. I can say that we are not working on it. However, when it comes to what LucasArts is doing or not doing - I can't really comment. To work with a publisher we have to sign contracts that say we can't talk about things that they tell us when they haven't talked about them publically yet.
Sorry,
Feargus
Any way I won't give up guys, I still hope for a Kotor III and I won't give up until there is an actual no from LA or George Lucas.
Any way read the quote above.

E-mail the publisher Lucasarts
As what everyone on this forum has said before, its not a good idea to e-mail the development company as the title does not reside with them but rather with the publisher.
So, best to e-mail Lucasarts, as what everyone has said before, since they are the ones who hold the rights to the KOTOR series.

Hey guys i was checkin out this website called comingsoon.net that gives info on upcoming movies,tv shows, and games and i saw this article that talks about LucasArts licensing a new star wars game maybe there's a chance that KOTOR 3 might be in that list for getting developed. As always its just a rumor and the article doesn't give any names on it but gotta keep hoping.

Hmm. That is most probably that Darth Vader game, not KOTOR 3, that Lucasarts was referring to. They've been hyping that game and the next Indiana Jones game prior to E3 onwards.

Hello
Anyone interested in contacting LucasArts about Kotor III? Here you are, this should help you. I tried and I now am waiting for a response. Good Luck!
http://www.lucasfilm.com/press/contact/
Everyone I suggest you all start filling LA's e-mails boxes and tell them how much you really want Kotor III, go for it! E-mail away!

In one of the recent GameInformer it said that LA just upgraded their system. Hopefully they were just waiting for this upgrade to make KOTOR3. I have no idia what the upgrades do even after reading the article, but it seems very important to the Xbox 360.

They (Lucasarts) could be doing it for some of the titles in development such as the latest Indiana Jones game and that much talked about Darth Vader game. That's the closest possibility that I can think of for now.
