Magrus is going to invest the object he has noticed carefully, looking around the area nearby first.

@Magrus

Other than the dowry itself, nothing seems to be really out of place.

Esterimas Deed
as i sit and listen to the story
i loudly pop out with astonishment

"By Merlins troll height long elven years old and white as an elder vampire's skin beard!"

then ask with an encouraging smile for more

"How have we not heard of this before? and surely it could not have ended there, a whole city sized area exploding and no one does anything not to mention investigate?"

i also roll a sense motive check on the story
11+4=16

(also mind i ask but by his stats you wrote on the other thread he doesnt seem to be capable of doing something like that)

(I'm lost here, thought the last one was a typo. Dowry - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Maybe you meant something else?)

@Magrus

Hmm..weird. The one and only time I ever heard the term "Dowry" used was in a game Titan Quest, where it's basically a lost necklace.

Anyways, just replace the word Dowry with Amulet.

@Esterimas

"Nah, no investigation needed. I was patched up by a couple of priests, and asked to explain myself in front of the king when I had my strength. I told him about the device I used, how horrible the devastation was, and how I would never build another device like that again even if my life depended on it.

The king agreed with this decision, after sending troops to witness the devastation themselves. Officially, in recorded history it reads that I had nothing to do with the event and it was a band of necromancers tampering with magic they shouldn't have, and because their bodies were in the center of this horrific explosion, they were vaporized.

While it's a lie, and it allowed the king to use that as yet another excuse to abolish necromancy, it's a damn sight better than what could have happened if it were pinned on me and the public knew."

Are we stuck with the campaign?

My life has been hectic as of late and I've been too busy with other games as well as trying to figure out what to do in this one and unfortunately, I may have to drop out of the gamebanshee games all together.

It's my mistake, so I do apologize for my absence and delays. Currently I'm in four games, working part time, studying for college, trying to find a new job, etc etc so somewhere I've gotta draw the line and being a DM is the most time consuming job for D&D.

I know this sucks because you guys are getting the short end of the stick, and I'm really sorry, but I just don't think I can DM one game, play in three others one of which happens to be in real life and manage everything else in my life.

I am sorry to hear that then. Maybe we can start a fresh one or continue after you settle down in your real life. Good luck!

Like blank said, any campaigns where we can fit in?
