There is no link to show off Master Waverly's flaming "talent".

Even the most inbred of inebriates (e.g. Frogus) must realise that Waverly couldn't flame a 5-alarm house fire on the flamingest day of his life, even if he'd had 6 pints of Guinness the night before and eaten chili and beans for breakfast.

The Metamorphosis

You know, in an effort to better understand where Waverly came from, I clicked on his profile, did a search of all his posts, and started reading from his very first topics. When he started out, he was actually very polite - a real posterchild for Comm (RIP). Now, I wasn't about to read through all 4,000 some posts of his, but it just makes me wonder: when and why did he change? Anyone have any clues?

My feeling is, is that he started off as a gentleman, testing the waters. Once he felt comfortable with the people, he dove in, and everyone climbed out. :D

i just went back to my very first post, it was in the BG2 forum. october of last year. i asked what was the deal with the cloak of reflection getting all turned into the cloak of deflection. i was promptly told by curdis that this was throne of bhaal's doing, and then i was told by userunfriendly how to hack this and get my old cloak back.

Weasel, there is no harm in admitting you are jealous of Minerva’s affection [oh, wait she is not here… so she won’t kill me if I say passion] for me.
Passion? What gives you such an idea?  I have not been here when you posted, but Buck is not a man (well, Satan) of leasure with plenty of time to delete threads after threads.

Minerva sent it to me before she left, saying something about putty in her hands?
So, contrary to the posts in the SYM, you and Waverly are close enough to exchange wild fancies by emails frequently, then. Well, well...

I have always been a gentleman. I just don’t suffer fools gladly.
Waverly is busted by Minerva’s search capabilities:
Passion? What gives you such an idea?

I see you have been catching up on the recent posts, Goddess. Yes, sadly the voices in my head have once again led me astray. On the plus side, I am much more aerodynamic.

I still need someone to rub lotion on me, though.

Be careful what you say! Beldin and Eerhardt have been having "manly" fun in the hot tub. They might just answer your prayer.

Aerodynamic? What for!?

I agree with Gruntboy. There are a few guys in the SYM willing to give you rubbing lotion. :D
