@georgi- YOU ARE A SAINT!!!

thanks for the long post on the fallen path for anomen. it has eased my cuoriosity.

aerie still should have been wacked

hare'dalis? never kept him long enough to either like or dislike him. never seem to be able to fit him into the group.

shaving? i think he'll look good either way, though i'm not partial to beards. but tall dark and handsome usually look good in anything. :D

Anomen: "Is it time to rest? Prithee my lady, I feel an itchiness all over..... it is the hair growing back...."

p.c: "Perhaps, it is also the heat my love, maybe it will ease if you remove your armour."

Anomen: "My love you're not suggesting...I tremble at the thought.... Mayhaps, would you vanquish the hair with that formidable blade, "razor of the night?" I beseech thee my lady, oh please!"

p.c: We have only a little whipped cream left, just enough for one night. But not to worry....our trip to the Underdark dost approach."

Anomen drops to ground and begins to unfasten his armour, writhing in ecstasy at the thought of the night ahead, and the unlimited supplies of whipped cream soon to be had.... :D :D :D

Oh oh I am warped today. must be because it's Friday.

ROTFLMAO!!!!

Ah, the journey to the Underdark, where not only the whipped cream but also the Lust Chambers await...To blazes with Imoen! To Hades with Irenicus!!! The party now goes in search of adventure in order to accumulate enough wealth for an everlasting supply of whipped cream. Mazzy keeps an ice bucket ready on hand at all times.

Anomen writhing...hmmm...

:D

  what are you on??

whipped cream is nice but coolwhip tastes better! :D :D

But I understand that coolwhip can only be found in the vicinity of Baldur's Gate. We must deal with the materials on hand...

Razor of the Night may do +2 "damage" ;) when coolwhip is employed; this is the subject of legend however as the Razor has never been carried outside of Amn...

Legend also has it that bathing in the Sahuagin Hotsprings increases Razor's "potency" to +5. ;) But bring your own vanilla pudding :D

@DW - studies, what studies? ohhhh, you mean all the coursework deadlines and exams! I forgot...

BTW, you're all crazy... in a good way ;)
Surely that much whipped cream would make you ill?!?

I'd be placing bets on the CN, liberated Anomen being more... open to experimentation :D All those repressed urges to fulfil...

Actually the Anomen research is partly for my own benefit, cos I am writing some BG2 fiction, and I wanted as much game info on Anomen's interactions as possible... Only too pleased to share my findings though :)

we are all crazy

the only thing that makes us ill is withdrawl of said whipped cream. cool whip can be found in trademeet in small quanities.

@geogi- writing fiction? when do we get to see this bodice-ripper? ;)

Oooooh I'm bound for Trademeet right now.....

And yes Georgi, about that fiction? Do we get any sneak previews? Sounds great, good luck with it. :)

Trademeet?!?! Do the Dao djinn carry it cheaper? Because I hear that outside of the Sword Coast coolwhip can get very, very pricey...

BTW, Razor can be upgraded by Cromwell with 400 lb. of illithium, the Girdle of Fortitude, and a lock of Drow hair...

tee-hee, we are so bad... :o :D

Georgi, do share your fiction when it gets into share-able shape. I'm sure we all would love to hear it :) Are you going to go with the good, romantic-yet-subdued Anomen, or the fallen, uninhibited Anomen?...or a healthy combo of both??...

yes, trademeet for cool whip. you must talk to the dao djinn to obtain a contract.

for each rakaska head you bring in, you get a nice bucket of cool whip plus chocolate covered strawberries freshly conjured by the greatful djinns.

need to find rakaska heads? then look no further than suldenssullar! happy hunting ladies!

it's good to be the goddess :D

I hate to seem uneducated  but what exactly is coolwhip? If it exists on this side of the Atlantic, I must have missed something...

Ummm, well, knowing me and my tendency to start writing stuff (with a couple of scenes I can visualize fairly vividly) and never getting around to finishing it... Still, yeah, if I get enough done to be worthy of reading, I'll put it on the web someplace...

I think I've got to go with the lawful Anomen, since that's how it went in my game... But I'm not exactly going to limit myself to that... and not using much of the actual game dialogue, more like elaboration on the basic story...

And for those of you who played BG1, my PC also has a mysterious past involving Ajantis ;) She obviously has a thing for paladin-types... :D

Georgi, "Cool Whip is in essence fake whipping cream. It comes in a plastic tub, and is made with a great deal of oil and suger. Some people really like it, but I prefer whipped cream. ;)

Just a comment re what y'all have posted about ToB and a happy ending...I've also read somewhere the rumor that the goal of ToB is for the PC to ascend to godhood. Now, I have a little theory on this...It entails a psychic prediction so don't read if you prefer total surprise over speculation...

If you've noticed, all the romance options are clerics. That would make sense if indeed the PC is to achieve divine status, because my guess is that your love interest, whoever it may be, will establish the worship of the PC and in essence become your first priest. [They've been worshipping you all this time anyway, right? ;) ] Now, I personally would like to see options for endings, where you could choose whether to ascend (for the fanatical paladins among us) or to maintain your mortality (for the romantics among us)...but considering the emphasis the game places on destiny, I'm not convinced options will be available. Also, if you remember, in BGII something is said about all the children of Bhaal ending up in Hell when they die, through no fault of their own, due to the taint. So the choice would be to ascend and live in divine bliss, or to live in earthly bliss only to end up in Hell in the long run. Not a happy scenario...ah well, this is all just speculation...

@DW... ah, I see... I'm a squirty cream fan myself... especially if it's chocolate and Tia Maria flavour...

@loner72, interesting point about clerics. Although rumour says that the second female romance that was planned was Haer'Dalis, which wouldn't have fitted in (and the reason it didn't get put in was lack of time or something)... I really don't like the idea of becoming a god(dess). And of course it begs the question, if whatever destiny the PC has is only fulfilled when every other Bhaal child is dead... It really ain't looking good for Imoen :( As if she hadn't been through enough in SoA!!

Anyway, I'm just gonna give up trying to figure it out, and wait and see...

Hmmm, I'm not sure if you could obtain chocolate or tia maria in Faerun. Maybe with the illithium upgrade Razor could create one of each, once a day. ;)

Mmmmm...Tia Maria...this is getting better and better constantly :D Yes, I do believe that is a special ability after upgrade.

@Georgi -- Yee-ow, didn't even think about Imoen...wow, wonder what they'll do with that??...will our PC have to kill her? They might pull a sneaky trick like they did with Khalid and Dynaheir in BGII, just have her dead right off the bat with no possibility of resurrection...hmmm...

@Loner72: I also noticed that all the romance options are clerics (the Haer Dalis idea not withstanding... I'm more than happy to leave him to Aerie)I was wondering if this was an attempt by the game developers to make the final battle with Bodhi more difficult.

@Georgi: What you say about Imoen is interesting. She cuts a very tragic figure in SOA, so it will be intriguing to see what they do with her. I've seen some people complain that her new portrait is less attractive and that she's very depressed in BG2. Well no s**t, after what she's been through! What is also puzzling is that she has virtually no interaction with the other npcs once you get her back. Even after reclaiming her soul, she remains subdued.
She needs a good man and some whipped cream ;)

dw -- good point about the vamps...I just read way too much into things :)

Imoen...SHE WILL EMBRACE THE DARKNESS WITHIN!!! She will wear spikey armor and take on a fanatical concern with iron supplies...and jealous Sarevok will sue for copyright infringement, beginning a nightmare trek through the justice system which can only end in chaos...Party quests will consist mostly of legal leg-work, gathering evidence through dangerous, shady, and generally adventurous means...
