“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

That'll be in two hours then. :D

I did the skeleton on purpose, since your a druid and all.
I'm not sure how your character will respond, so I'm looking forward to that. :)

Edit:
It's a cleric btw :)

Well I hope thats adequate, at least.

I hope you guys can picture the battle. Sometimes it can be hard to project my images into words. I hope you atleast understand whats going on. :D

I'm so tempted to end the battle, but I'm unsure of your plans, Rob, so I appeased myself by brutally murdering three of the attackers. Hope thats alright ;)

Also, if Ae'siir's little secret isn't abundantly clear yet, then I'm starting to wonder what it is you guys thought it would be, or whether I'm not writing clearly enough :D

@Rob: Just a note, if Magus doesn't appear soon, and you want to move on in the story, feel free to write in what he does. 'Cause if you don't, I eventually will ;)

I think he could use some anger controll managment. :D

My idea about Magus is this:
He's K.O. :D
Thats why he didn't participate and missed, yet again... a good fight.
:o :D

Well since the battle with the skeleton was a quick battle, with a ton of descriptions, I thought I had time to do a little bit more before the cleric could make his next move. :D

So note, 2 thugs have been killed (one by panther, one by Acolytus) and the skeleton has been disposed of.

His druid friend has arrived, she has cast entangle. She is only 2 levels higher then Acolytus, which makes her level 7. She has leather armor +1 and a wooden shield and scimitar. (well the scimitar isnt wooden...you know what I mean :D )

Due to Tyb's friend, who is lvl 7, I need to raise the clerics lvl a bit.
I intended him to be a six or seven lvl cleric, but that wouldn't really be fair now.

He's a eight lvl cleric now.
Say thanks to Tyb. :D

@rudar,

Good. More experience points for the group. :D But who's to say she will be in the fight for the duration? :D

And btw, because of Rob's lack of numbers I over-exaggurated the number of opponents in my mind. I figured there were 5x as many foes as Rob had intended. Great. I just got some allies arrivals for nothingImage

Yeah, well I don't use to many numbers.
I try to leave it up to the players, this way you guys have the freedom you need to write what you like.

Tyb went a bit overboard though. :D

Seems I missed quite a bit. :o

Sorry for the sudden and prolonged absence. I had a one-week vacation coming up that I was going to mention, but it was finals week and before I knew it I was packed into a car and carted off to Flordia. Needless to say, that left me without Internet access.

Lame excuses aside, I apologize, especially since you guys waited quite a while for me to finish what I was doing. I'll get a post up as soon as possible. I'd post now, but I'd like to come up with a creative explanation for Magus's mysterious absence. ;) I'll try to get up something appropriately convoluted tomorrow afternoon/evening. :D

BTW, if something like this happens again, feel free to move on without me, or fill in for me. No need to hold up for the likes of me. :)

I think I've got an idea, but I'm pretty sure any intermediate forms would have hair. Other than that, I'm stumped.

@all: BTW, nice fight. Too bad I didn't get into it earlier.

@Tybaltus: Thank you for your earlier comment, undeserved though it might have been. :)

We seem to have netted Azmodan for this. Welcome and all, just curious if Rob knows about this. Regardless, it's nice to see a new face.

BTW, I'll be posting again soon, and if Rudar doesn't come back, I might have to remove him temporaly from the picture, or focus Ae'siir towards someone else.

Welcome to the VotH group, Azzy. It is great to see additions to our little world. :)

And to summarize my post:

Greppun-ok, but shaken up
Corriatia has paralysis of her legs
Acolytus is currently in wyvern form
The ant is dead
There are still some random lackies that can be killed near the entangle spell
And there is a swarm of insects around the cleric

Phew...a lot happening ;)

Tell me if Im going overboard ;)

Nope, your writing the chaos of a battle quite nicely, though we should start wrapping it up, so that we can continue with the main story.

Welcome, Azmodan. Hopefully Rob-hin can handle the addition of another player character. From what I can tell, he's pretty busy just with the lot of us. :) If you haven't already, you might want to get in touch with him via PM and see how you might arrange your entrance into the story.

BTW, as a general rule we're sticking with 3rd Edition rules, just so you know. I got the impression that you might be modeling your character off of 2nd Ed. rules, which may or may not make much of a difference in the actual story.

@Tybaltus: Looks like your characters are pretty busy there, eh? Me, I'm biding my time for the moment...

Yeah.....phew...after dealing with the ant, the cleric, the spells, the lackies, and 3 characters, looks like I get a chance to relax.

*reads Aegis' post*

Bummer.....

Yeah...the chaos is just swarming and is so thick, you can cut it with a knife. :D

And now Im gonna have to deal with Ae'siir and whatever Rob does with the cleric. Whatever he does, Im game. Ill take another breath and see what comes out in the end. :D

But, at least my character has both eyes in good condition! :p

I'm trying everything I can. I was about to write yesterday, but I didn't have the Player's Handbook with me. You really need that when you are playing a spellcaster. The rest of the post is finished....

I just read the last post on VotH.....I guess I can throw away my own post now. Doesn't matter, it only took me an hour or so to write it. May be my next post is gonna be:
"And Gurdio died".....that is if I still control my own character
