I was going to dual my fighter to cleric, but i dont know when to do so, and now i have a question.

When do clerics get their last mayor advantage (extra level 7 slot for example) for gaining levels?

Levelin' up in ToB has become really borin'. 'Tis very rare that mages an' clerics get new spells, so the last major advantage would be when ye pick yer last special ability. An' even then, there be a few abilities that plainly suck, like Storm o' Vengeance.

I nay know precisely how many special cleric abilities there be, but I'll check.

Alright, good an' evil clerics be gettin' 8 high level abilites, neutral be gettin' 9.

The difference be the Deva Summonin' (Deva fer good-aligned, Fallen Deva fer evil, an' both fer neutral).

These abilities be:
Aura o' Flamin' Death
Elemental Summonin'
Energy Blades
Globe o' Blades
Implosion
Mass Raise Dead
Storm o' Vengeance
Summon (Fallen) Deva

Since ye get yer first special ability around 3.000.000 XP, ye'd get yer last one, if ye're a cleric, at level 28/29, methinks. That be if ye want 'em all.

At high levels, ye get to choose one new special ability, like the fighter's Whirlwind Attack. With priests an' wizards, these be spells. Ye can cast these spells by memorizin' them as high level spells (level 7 fer priests: quest spells; an' 9 fer wizards: level 10 spells). Wizards 'ave a few exceptions, bein' the abilities that allow 'em to memorize extra spells on a certain level (can only be chosen once).

O'er classes work differently. They get to choose from a number o' special abilities. Most o' them go to the Innate Abilites bar. They can be chosen multiple times, allowin' the character to use them a number o' times per day. The warrior abilities be great in combat. Greater Whirlwind, fer example, can bring down anythin' as long as ye 'ave 'nuff o' them available. Rogue abilites include Use Any Item (permanently, so 'tcan only be chosen once), an' Scribe Scrolls (multiple times).

Ye can choose a new, or in certain classes' case ano'er one o' the same ability every time ye level up.

Ah,thanks. but then i might as well get my fighter to a high level, as a cleric that has reached level 30 wont get anything after level 30 except for hitpoints and such then.

am i wrong? all level 7 spell slots should haeve been gotten by level 30.. and thats all there is to get
