...here's some. It took a long time to finally get what I needed to complete the DL armor...the shoulders were the last. This was the first time finishing with a complete set. Fun game, can't wait for the upcoming update.

Reaching higher levels
Hi Damn Snakes!, thanks for the response.
I used the area respawn to my advantage especially where there were enemies that gave good experience. Mooncats gave good experience and there was a campfire not all that far away. I would fight until I needed to renew my spells and then return to the campfire and rest 24 hours. I usually had a fight after resting so I would kill them and continue resting. There were times when after resting there would be great fights where I was literally surrounded by foes and I would kill them off and continue resting. The time would come when I was fully rested. I would then head back to the Mooncats again. I probably killed over 100 of them and the only area I can remember now where my enemies didn't respawn was the area of the Fire Drakes which was disappointing as they gave excellent exp. I ocassionally found myself getting a little to low on my main spells and I would just run through an area to the nearest Moongate and pop into either Fargrove or to Arindale to rest.
I couldn't even guess how many hours I played the game but there were many eight to twelve hour sessions. I was simply having fun with the local enemies and bad guys and the bigger the battle the better as long as I had these spells; Fire Burst, Blast Nova, Ice Nova, Fire Nova, Magic Missile, Fireball, Iceball, Shrieking Star, Poisonous Cloud and Nether Blast.
I did have fun.

Campfire Between Arindale and Lost Lake
Hi Damn Snakes!, thanks for the response.
I am attaching a .jpg file of the northeast corner of the map and I marked the location of the campfire. You have to cross the river to get to the campfire and I would suggest a save before you do. I was almost always attacked by monsters in the river while crossing or waiting on the shore. I used that save after my first attempt because I couldn't find a way up onto the shore. I learned to check the opposite shoreline for a good spot up before crossing the next time. I would suggest that you set Fire or Blast Nova as your active spell as I got into some major battles here after resting.
I sometimes had to rest for 6 or more days after an outing on Lost Island and playing tag with the Moonbeasts. I would purposely after resting go immediately back to resting at times no matter how many monsters were surrounding me. The more = that much more fun!
My attachment also shows the two Moongates I used in that area of the map for when I needed to sell stuff. You do have to run to each one to avoid the pesty monsters if you haven't rested but that is not hard after the first run through the area as you know approximately where the monsters usually are lurking. I would pop in to Arindale after I was done, cross the river and rest to top off my spells before continuing.
The is a map of all know treasure spots and many of those have campfires that "ferncliff" posted and is now a sticky. I am including a link to the page with this post:

someone look at thumpsalot warwitch pic on the 5th page i think and tell me what I am seeing wrong?
It looks like he went mage/fighter/valkyrie/Maurader/warwitch which is all good, but it looks like he received both scribe and channel? which only the enchantress gets but he didnt have that icon showing?
Is there a way for all classs to get both scribe and channel? i kinda think not unless pic is a fake?

Scribe and Channel
Hi Decimate,
My character had both scribe and channel. He was an Adept, Mage, Paladin,
Battlemage and Warlock which gives him both abilities.

I see what you mean. Its a guess, but probably warwitch gets both and the walkthrough is just missing the info. D

I did miss dual wield.....
Hi Decimate,
I did miss dual wield as I usually play an offensive based character and use strategy to keep me alive. I also missed using a bow because the archery skill in this game is broke. I also feel that this game is slanted to magic use as melee was at best only good in the beginning of the game(imho). I feel that when it takes 20 swings to hit a lone wolf that is just standing there it is an indication of something wrong in the game.
I developed my style of combat in Diablo 2 & LOD and it worked quite well with the three characters I played that were still standing at the end of the game. I played that game over two years straight especially when the new characters were introduced. I ended up finishing it as a Amazon, Barbarian and a Paladin. The Assassin was fun for a while but could not stand up to the up close and personal style of fighting that I like and all of my characters must be able to use the bow.
I will dual wield in DS II as I played the demo and dual wielding was a blast.

This is my first time playing as a magic user (Warlock/Budoka) but having played through several times as a fighter (Lord, Deathlord, Ninja Lord etc) I have to say that I have never had to take several swipes to hit anything!
perhaps this game hates on edited characters, but I have always kicked every single buttock with melee skill - and I have a hard time not reverting to melee even as a Warlock...
just my opinion...
(I have never gotten a character past the "thirties" in overall level either)
Damn Snakes! (also Damn Bees... Damn Spiders... Damn Wolves... etc)

Hey Mellez, whats up? Do you have Adobe Photoshop? If not you can download it. Here are the step by step instructions:
on the top left hand main menu start by opening:
FILE/ then select /OPEN (the default goes to My Pictures in My Documents so put your image screenshots there first)
Again on main menu top left go to:
SELECT/ then click / ALL
next go to:
IMAGE/ then select / IMAGE SIZE
a menu will pop up with:
PIXEL DEMENSIONS / choose desired size / then:
RIGHT CLICK / on newly sized image, select / SAVE AS / name image
a window will pop up:
IMAGE OPTIONS / choose / MAX
Hope this helps,
GW
p.s. did you see my reply to your last post on my TOTD thread? You gave me a great idea! Also see NEW GROUP QUEST! thread. Check it out and let me know what you think...

Ashtaroth Char.
Perhaps a little to late for posting but here goes.
As you see, I did a few mistakes during the initiation of the game.
And by some damn bug, i was unable to equip more then one high-level amulet/ring/band.
Has anyone had the same expirience?

Perhaps you recall my tip to you regarding the search for the DemonBlades?
Well, after hours of fruitless disarmament of the before-mentioned chest, the thought of that the DemonBlades only could be found in a realm embedded with the 1.4 (or later version) patch struck my mind. Therefore, instead of continuing my futile search, i left that area with the Winter No-Dachi and a rather large highlevel heavy mace.
PS: Concerning properties, both in melee and magic, the No-Dachis exceeds the magical series of Greatswords but are much harder to acquire.
