Does anyone have enough personal information to do anything more than internet data fishing? I've never met him in the flesh, so I'm not much help. I am friendly with him and I do live closer to him than most other GB members, so other than splitting the cost of a rental car with CM and driving out there, I'm not sure how to proceed.

I only know what his location. I have long forgotten his name....not sure what it is. But Rochester was the place me mentioned. Now the question is can DW and Hill contact him at either one of those places? Or does anybody have the contact information of his friends or family? E-mails would work as well.

He was meant to change town because of a new job, so I believe he's not in Rochester.

Could this comment be the solution?
Maybe Mag really moved to other city, and hasn't got his internet working yet.
I don't know how it's in USA, but here in Finland it can take even month before you internet works.
Also, how long has it been since last known activity of Mag, in any forums?

I'm also willing to help, but I'm not sure what I can do from here

Yeah, this MAY be the truth, but I doubt he wouldnt go into some lanhouse if he couldnt stablish internet conection. He is addicted to Banshee as we are. And I'd do that kind of thing.

Concerning the moving: he moved before I even went on holidays, so IIRC end of August or so. He was some days without connection but had said so on beforehand.

I'm wondering if everyone here searching shouldn't exchange emails. It would be an idea to collate everything we find into an organised single document that we can send around.
And also, we should divide up the areas we poke into, phone numbers, search sites, MC D's locations etc.

For one, PMs are restrictive in the character limits and inbox levels (mine is usually on the verge of overflow). And, if GB goes down again, or crawls the way it was yesterday, we are a bit stuck.

Also: anyone who has a phone number for him (even if it is not recent) It can be entered into that IP tracking site I listed in here... So that might help narrow things down a bit..

He definitely moved before I went on holiday and I'm fairly sure he didn't move far, as the same friends were around as much as before.

IMO, that would make sense.
I have a phone plan that allows me to call anywhere in NA for a flat monthly rate 24/7. So because of the cost factor, I don't mind taking on more of them...

However, maybe we should take a step back. I mean, I was just thinking how I would feel if I was sitting around, doing my thing, and a whole bunch of pseudo-acquaintenances started calling me. I am genuinely concerned, but I think that our next step should not be taken too hastily.
