In the future, we wont have cannons. More likely howitzers or mortars. But I really don't see how the main character will be lugging any of those around.

Agreed. It will look ridiculous. However, if a cannon should be useable in the game, it will more likely be a stationary weapon just like how other games treat turrets, mortars or any other fixed position weapons.

Thats what I thought too, when mentioning howitzers. But then we would need to have castle sieges and whatnot to be able to implement to power of bombardment. I'll stick with Enflame and Fireball, thank you.

I think they should bring a trident to Fable and a long Samurai sword, like a longer katana. The katana in the first one looked more like a dagger.

oh man scythes would be kool but unlike what ive seen on fable on PC (which were pretty weak) they would have to be pretty reliable. also i love the idea of samouri swords, the old katanas looked like steak knives to my hero. for gamers that like using a lot of magic they could have staffs to slightly highten spell power. but my all time favourite weapon i would like to see in fable 2 would be cool looking, maybe spiky but totally awsom scimitars.

didnt look through all pages so some one might have already posted something likethis
Ok like with the shield idea and sword throwing ideas i think u should be able to just pick up anything and just throw it like throw a beer bottle and some dude and give him a concussion
. yea and throwing your shield like capt. america would be tight ya know what im sayin. but for weapon ideas like whips yea would be tight and like for spells i dont know if its off topic but you should be able to like make a clone that you can like command and like teleport yea that would be cool...

Actual weapons to be expected
Hey Guys and Girls,
i actually know the weapons and some bonus features k there will be guns all the other same weapons a pet dog who is a life long companion through out the game and co-op meaning your other friend with an xbox 360 can play with you with there own character in your world also quests shall no longer have money rewards the creators said you actually have to go and get a job in the town for money now and before the actually game release there releasing the mini games you know the betting and gambling and card games before the actuall fable 2 so if you make like 50k in the mini games youll get it later on in the game when your an adult someone will just walk up to you and say here take this
its like the creators way of kicking you in the balls they also said that would you rather be the richest man with the best weapons but doesnt really know how to use them well or would you be the strongest man with the crapiest weapons either way it sort of balances out or you could just get a job save up for that weapon like if your going to be a gun man and just buy that one thing or others doesnt matter though its your character

i think they whould have weapons and armours that can only be worn and be used by characters thast have a certain amount of skill or hysical ability or will power and that if you speacialise in will there are certain weapons that only that type of character can use.

First: Swordchucks -go to
Nuklear Power - Home of 8-bit Theatre (sorry if you think its spam just let me know)
Second: Fable I/II is more of an adventure RPG. If it was an MMO or Open World RPG I'd be all for things like custom weapons and such, but I would definitely like to see dual wielding and shields.
Third: I don't know if this applies to weapons but it might to armor, the one reason I returned Fable I to my friend after only having it a week is because of the magic. occasionally my assassins rush spell would put me right in front of my enemy, and when you have almost no defense because you put all of your points into damage and speed, you die in 2 hits. Also there has to be some way to block spells, I don't know what the rest of you think but the only way I could get around spell casters was to dodge (doesn't work on Jack of Blades) or the assassins rush spell I previously mentioned, which most of the time put me in the way of the enemy's next spell.
Let me know what you think, I'm open to direct criticism if you can back it up. BTW gotta love Diablo II and Oblivion.

Heraldry

I have an idea here. What about the idea of creating your very own insignia on your armour? It will look cool to me and it does make the armour pleasing to look at. Might work like if you join a group of heroes, their insignia will be painted on the front and back of the armour. At least it will give you a sense of belonging to the group should you have one.
Excelent idea
this artform is called chivalry it was used to identify knights back in medieval times speaking of knight they should have set the public responces to your appearance on a form of chivalry (ie. if you dont break any chivalric rules they would act normal also on the topic of public responces random people dont just clap and call out on the stree make this more realistic, please) this should only be accesable if you have the job blacksmith lvl 4 or 5 because then ur enemies would be like
he is uber awesome
i worship him

Well I agree as far as your idea on dual-wielding and shields, i was very much looking forward to this in number 2 but as for underpowered I have to highly disagree.
(Spoiler ahead for those who haven't beaten Fable TLC....yea right.) When it comes to Jack of Blades you can actually beat him with out being touched, both times. Especially if you invested into the overpowered combo of maxed physical strength with maxed multi-attack and maxed slow speed. I beat his dragon form in 3 seconds flat with out getting touched. As for the first time of fighting Jack, if you do it properly, the only enemy you have to worry about is his minions. When he's lobbing spells at you, well timed assassin rush and dodge will make all the difference, use said combo on him and he'll go down in 1-2 hits. For phase 2, hide behind the rocks but don't stand directly behind them because splash damage will hit ya, try and do as much crowd control damage as possible and when jack uses his spell that anything that it touches it drains your health as if it was nothing, try and throw a few minions out of behind the rocks and they'll be a lot weaker. Use a high level fireball or Bow with multi-ranged and he'll be dead in no time. (Spoiler gone.)
Same idea for regular enemies, block and dodge make all the difference. If you block and wait for them to hit you and get dazed, open up on them and take them out A.S.A.P. Same goes for dodge, wait for them to strike, dodge them, and their open for attack. The only spells I've had trouble dodging where those from Maze when he uses lightning because you have to be faster then well....lightning.
