*nods* I found my new favourite breakfast drink. Blue raspberry vodka and orange juice. It's good stuff! Like fruit punch for adults!

Hahaha... stop drinking that juice in the morn, man, your brain cells should at least breathe between the night drinks and the lunch... :p

I haven't gotten drunk since saturday. Man, was I drunk saturday...the DJ's wife was bringing me drinks at the club we were at. Double fisting double rum and cokes was fun!

It's the weirdest thing, but I tend to shy away from strong rum and Cokes, and strong screwdrivers, and other strong types of drinks. And yet, I take to Long Islands like fish to water.

Those rum and cokes were bartender rum and cokes. They were weak compared to mine. Most people don't drink my drinks after holding the cup. They can smell the liqour and want no part of it. What is the point of going out to drink, if you aren't going to at least catch some sort of drunken state? I mean really, it IS the point of drinking in the first place.

Then again, most people don't have my tolerance level. I make drinks so I get drunk in a cup or two and don't have to carry a cup around for a while. Most people seem to want to have a ton of drinks they have to imbibe before feeling anything for some reason. Yeah, that's you, you beer drinkers you.

I actually don't like the taste of alcohol, but by my third rum and coke I can handle more than 50/50. It's all about knowing your boundaries and working within them. :D

I like a drink that'll taste decent but still give me a good buzz in one glass (hence my attachment to Long Islands, since it can sometimes take half a glass to get me there :D ; some don't taste terrible, like the top shelf one I had last week). I tend to prefer maintaining a nice buzz, even a good strong one, rather than just getting completely drunk. But being drunk off my rocker is fun, too.

Jack&Coke, Captain Morgans Spiced Rum&Coke, screwdrivers, parrot bay lemonades and Bacardi Limon for me. I'm more of a beer man, though: sometimes liquor just makes me gag.

If you are ever in Austin, go to Trudy's (there are 3-4 of them scattered around town) and order a top-shelf Mexican Martini. It's basically a margarita with good tequila and cointreau. It's the best alcoholic drink I've ever had and one tumbler knocks me off my rocker somethin' nasty.

Cabo Wabo-esque tequila or not quite that good? If so I'd imagine it'd be an expensive drink...

I usually get Cuervo Gold 1800. And the way I have it made it's about $10, but that's a tumbler full so it's all I need to get a very nice buzz going.

That's not bad at all, good call. I've never had Cuervo gold but it sounds delicious. :D

Cuervo is nice. At least is the best tequila we got access to here. It is strong and makes your mouth taste like vulcanized rubber for hours, but that's how tequilas are supposed to do :p

Note to self: Dont do tequila and kiss GF.

Wise note. Couldn't kiss for a whole evening because my mouth was too dry of all the Tequilla.
Missed a great oppurtunity because of that, although the Tequila wasn't bad either.

Tequila's a flat-out awful liquor. I don't mean that I don't like it, but after drinking it for any length of time you feel like you've puked... Except you haven't, and the dry heaves are right around the corner.

Speaking of things that aren't that great... cornflakes and cream. Together. I ran out of milk and had to improvise. :(
