Sorry for not spamming, but I thought I would do a kind of public service announcement.

The coming battle with the Abomination will probably one of the most complex battle scenes we have attempted... except possibly that time DW attacked Gwally's bat. It will take a good deal of coordination and conversation concerning the dynamics of the battle for it to come together the way all of us would like. I would like to encourage using both this thread and PMs to sort out possible plot lines and options. By doing so, I think the writing will be more tighter and more realistic (yes, I realize that in a fantasy setting, realistic is an odd word to use) while potential difficulites or edits can be kept to a minimium. For example, I don't think this is a time when characters would go off on individual adventures (less realistic), but it could happen that a character or group of characters could be cut off from the main group (more realistic).

As I have mentioned previously, I do see this as an epic-level battle, so in my own mind we are limited only by our imagination and Buck's tolerance. I remember, for example, that Gwally had some thoughts about the Abomination breaking through to the surface at some point, so I would like to hear more about that as well as any other ideas any of you might have.

In light of the fun we are about to receive (let us give thanks, heh heh), I should probably list the effects that Thalimon's Holy Avenger will have on those around him. Here 'tis:

When drawn, the Avenger casts light in a 10' radius. Allies of Thalimon within the area of effect receive the benefits of a Protection from Evil, 10' radius spell (Magic Circle Against Evil in the 3E). This equates to a +2 bonus to armor class, a +2 bonus to all saving throws, and an immunity to all charm-based spells.
