I failed to detail yet another effect the Avenger shall have in the battle.

Here it is, then:

Torm's Gift

In battle, the presence of another paladin alongside Thalimon (i.e., Nippy) causes the light of the Holy Avenger to double in intensity, extending to a 20' radius around the sword. All allies within that radius benefit from the Magic Circle Against Evil spell, in addition to receiving an immunity to fear.

Since the offensive is being orchestrated by the drow, I am envisioning an initial tactical assault by "lesser races" (i.e cannon fodder) such as goblins, orcs, other monsters, etc. then a second wave of streeakh or suicide squads composed of lesser male drow lead by male commanders and their various minions. I would think the spiders would accompany both this wave and the final wave of elite drow forces lead by female priestesses. In my understanding, this would be a classical drow offensive.
