@Ode: Thank you *hug*, it is nice you don't think I generalize a lot. At least I try to be aware of my generalizations and biases, and change them quickly when I notice them...
Argh, my brain is like chewing gum today, I don't seem to get any work done...

I've had the 'chewing gum' mind for the past two days, I've been archiving files for my dad's business after spending around six months doing almost nothing. Boring work after half a year's relaxing is not conducive to an alert mind, I've found.
You don't generalize often, particularly not for someone with strong opinions, which I find quite admirable. I'd like to think the same about myself, but I still sometimes catch myself generalizing and have to rethink.

@Ode: Doesn't sound like a very stimulating work.

After a long period of inactivity, I think highly challenging and stimulation work is the best
Generalization is impossible to avoid, since it's part of how we humans learn things. Being aware of it and being quick to rethink is IMO the best way to avoid unfair or incorrect generalization. I think it is very much about realizing how limited our knowledge and understanding is and not get disillusioned or disappointed in the difficulties of finding final anwers to things. Generalization often provides a false sense of understanding things - I think that is why some people are so fond of it although it might be unfair.

It wasn't, but we're moving premises next week and the work had to be done. Luckily I'm getting a reference or two out of it, and am being paid (whhich is good, as I was almost broke). Thankfully I'm off to Uni next year to study philosophy and ethics, which should give my mind some much-needed stimulation.

Oh, that sounds great, should be very stimulating and interesting. Good choice of subjects
Sigh, must get some work done, I will have to leave in 45 minutes or so. See you later!

At the third page I feel I must bump this. A charity bar is really no place to go for the Depraved.

Due to serious boredom in my life I will probably be stuck here all night... Not reluctantly though.

I am too nice for that - anyone here will tell you this - it will be hard work, but I will try if you so wish
LOL! so I did not get the 'I am alive' sketch then

nice to see you are well
I am fine, though it is way too dark to worry about clouds here. I know they are out there, it has been raining for days

(poor CE, the weather was so nice a week ago!)
I managed to get my hands on NwN last Friday, and am still trying to find a) the time, then b) the concentration span to get further in Chapter One. I am getting old

I know its somewhat against your nature, but perhaps you could pretend for a little while...
No, I try to avoid that answer whenever its possible. Its just that sometimes there is really nothing more to say...
Yes thats unlucky.

Though my understanding of it was that she didnt make the trip primarly in hope of nice weather.

Actually I've had NwN for some time now, and done nothing but played the prelude a few times.

So I really hope you're not getting old.

Okay, if you insist *takes out big stick and tries to glare menacingly*
LMAO!

At least it is true!
Whoever comes to the UK hoping for nice weather?

there are much more interesting things to experience here...like...erm...
*Grins* but then I understand from CE when she was protecting

eek: ) you in the anatomy thread (starting to sound worse

) that you Swedes do not consider being old as being embarrasing

I will say I am old, and you are idle or out of ideas

Hold on here...the balance is all wrong...this is normally a two against Dottie scenario, I need to go fetch someone to counter this a little until Georgi returns

I can see now, You clearly dont have what it takes. You have to insult my personality with some partly true statement. A stick will do you no good. Still, talking to a nice person isnt actually that bad (I have noticed after much experimenting

), so perhaps I shouldnt have asked you in the first place.
The company of certain people?
Im not sure how big difference it really is. I guess I trust CE:s judgement though, But I think most people here in sweden would feel very insulted if they were told they looked 10 years older than they actually were or something like that. The reason I didnt think what I said would be insulting was that I thought I didnt imply anything about your age.

And I blame my lacking english if that was the case.
