Thanks. :)

I've been watching the last of my DVD today...lots of good stuff on there including a trailer and a 'Making Of' film for the new connected game. Stargate Sg-1 The Alliance. It looks good...
Oh, and downloading some screensavers and a wallpaper- it's one of these deals MGM offer, collect symbols from the DVD's and you get access to exclusive content. :)

Symbols?

Could you be a little more specific. I think I haven't heard of such offer.

It's a special offer thing they do in the DVD's different years. Last year it was collecting cards or something. This year it's a card that is used to 'decode' a picture on the inside of each DVD, providing you a Stargate glyph (the little constellation symbols), which is used on a website.
It won't be in the Season 6 DVD's though, I can't remember what the offer was for those. Of course MGM might have a different system for Finland.
The annoying thing about it, is that every time they released a DVD the content changed, but you'd need all the symbols from the DV's up to that point to access it. So I've only managed to access the last bit of content.

Have they even got up to selling Season 8 in Finland? (If you could find a place that sells it :p )

As for slade, I think he wanted a Paladin and didn't know about race and deity choices so he just chose those details that I used on mine.

I think he was more concerned that he had offended us than the other way round.

Ummm... dunno :D

But found out that the last season showed hear in tv was either the beginning of the season 6 or the whole season 5, cause in those episodes I have in my DVD Jackson is already got to second level...

So, everybody thinks they offended the other?
Just perfect

Well, better that way than that we REALLY offended eachother...

I think the beginning of Season 8 is being shown here. Season 9 before Christmas probably.

I'll have to send you Season 7 DVD's or something. :D ;)

I was more confused than annoyed that slade had chosen that type of Paladin, especially seeing as he stat die rolls done.
But I stayed generally neutral, not taking offence at anyone. :p

Seems like that would be the easiest way to me to get it, cause it seems that almost no-one sells those here :( :D

Yeah well, I hope the matter is solved now and we can fordet it.

And, BTW, I posted my character to Stargate Chararcter thread ;) :)

Hmm...buy DVD's off Amazon...and ship them to fans in Finland who can't get their own. :D
I wouldn't even have a problem with doing that, if the organistaion of it could be sorted. And I got the price of the DVD's back. :p

Yeah, I had a look.
One thing bothers me though- a General doing research offworld, being allowed enough free reign to disappear? Normally someone of that rank would be in charge of stuff, at least an SG unit. I know, I'm a perfectionist for details like that. :D
Other than that, it looks good to me :) .

Yeah, but I think I'm still going to find those here, there must be someone who sells those :D

Okay, I'm not good at armyranks in English, what would be lower than General and yet not Major? (I don't know why, but I don't just want to use Major, it sounds to me very cliché)

Such optimism! You'll be back... :p ;)
Seriously (for once), good luck on the search. :)

AFAIK between Major and General (there's actually 4 ranks of General too  ) there is:

Lieutenant Colonel and Colonel (with Lt. being the lower rank).

Hmmm.... Lieutenant Colonel would be good then, right?

Oh, posted the first part of Dostrem's story to story-thread :D
Not long, but I thought it was good time to end that part ;)
