Actually, with the horde that they've been getting, you guys also find about 400 gold (Max value sold) in gems and 600 gold in art and tapestry.

BTW, I know a very good armor for this kind of thing from arms and equipment guide. Fortification: it gives a character a AC bonus against crit confirm rolls

Already know of it in the 3.5 DM's guide.

fort light- 25% +1
fort medium- 50% +3
Fort heavy - 100% +5

You could get a hundred in pearls for identify.

consider this: most mind affecting spells (morale/fear) pass through resilient sphere. 1 of my command or hold person should have caught him, making it easier for the others

and a lot of summoning spells (summon monster/spiritual weapon) can materialize outside the force shield
