Im watching a show about the tower bridge. Americans would have just built a taller bridge

Tower Bridge is nice. There's a little museum inside and you can go and walk inside the top part of the bridge. It's where pedestrians used to walk when the bridge was raised.

Think how tall the bridge would need to be to allow for sails and masts if it didn't open.
