i haven't had a chance to play in a month or so. quite a shame really, but i have been so busy lately. i haven't had a chance to enjoy the immaculate weather here. it is still warm enough to wear shorts...or...ummm...miniskirts... it has been very warm here...even for texas...i mean, come on...it's november 7th!
but now i am going to move to pittsburgh. AHHHH!!!!!!!!
but come december i'll be able to play soem more TOB, i can finally finish my team of archers. sabre made me soem awesome uber powerful bows to spice things up a bit, and i haven;t had a chance to play them yet.

i'm still debatign if i should download those mods.
i just bought arcanum and am going through that. i like BG2 so much more, just the whole game play is better. i don't know abotu the storyline since i haven't played much yet. but we shall see.

@XYX - have you also played the TDD mod? any opinion of which is better, more stable? also, do you know if either is compatable with windows2000?

@Nael, I don't know anything about TDD, but I know all about Ascension. :)

You should really get it.

It's made by Dave Gaider, the ToB lead designer, because he felt the ToB ending was rushed (which it was).

It's not big (95% of it deals with the final battle alone), but has been scripted and tested more intensively than any other part of the game. I dare say that Ascension is the finest piece of design the series has to offer. :cool:

So, break out your final ToB save and get a taste of what the game could have been like had more time been available. ;)

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Hey Dude, have you been at Wizards of the Coast's message boards? If not I saw another Dude there. :eek: Other Game Banshee posters like Drakon are hanging there too. (I like to lurk ;) ) It's a nice way of learning about 3rd edition D&D before Neverwinter Nights comes out.
