Rav, you are a genius. Subscribing to the thread works wonders  .

by Ravager
That would depend on the type of subscriptiion, email notification on a spam thread just leads to way too many emails.

Yeah, I just took it off after I got the first one.

Just needed to make sure, because it originally read it as junk, so I wasn't positive it'd work.

You here for long?

by Ravager
Ahh, right.

Hmm, probably not that long. I have to work on my Java and C++ and I can't really do that here. I don't havethe compilers nor really the space to install them.
I'll probably be around for an hour unless I decide to get some more time at it anyway.

Okay, good enough for me :p .

We've finally got into Java coding, so I'm trying to understand that... and I have to turn the whole lot of coding into Pseudo code. :(

Posted: Thu Mar 16, 2006 2:29 am
by Ravager
Hehe. I still prefer Pseudocode to actual Java. :p
Just break it up into small parts, then it should be easier.

Or just close my eyes, block my ears, and hope for the best.

Haha. We could always swap our assignments, then you'd appreciate your Pseudocode.
Is this for the camel game?

Posted: Thu Mar 16, 2006 2:36 am
by dj_venom
Deal! :D

Sort of. We have that for the assignment, but she's going through some other game, which we have to turn the code into Pseudo.

by Ravager
Hehe. Okay, you have until Monday. :D

As long as you can understand the Java code and how the game works, you should be able to make some reasonable Pseudocode out of it, it's not going to be as long as the Java as you don't have to go declaring everything or mentioning the interface.
Just stuff like if the user has to enter a value, what happens if it's too low, just right or too high?

Wahey peeps!
Venom here pulled me from some other site. Whats up?

Posted: Thu Mar 16, 2006 2:44 am
by dj_venom
@Rav: Yeah, I'll figure something out. :) Just the main thing is that I consider it all a waste of time, prefering to just have a crack at it, rather than dancing around doing other things. Ohh well, we do what we must do...

@GD: Yes, you can blame me for that. :o

Yeah, just struggle through it... :p

Ack. Another Aussie? :D
Just kidding. Always nice to see another new person around. :)

Nope, not an Aussie... but they are still good regardless :p .

As always... as always.
