Tea of chai?
There is a difference in the strenght!
This is some pretty weak stuff.

Cricket!!!
Yes finally, we are winning.
Been a long time.
Inzi is in a rut, been doing bad, even against BD.

Sami got a hit-trick - not bad for a newbie.
You heard of this malik person - completely new for me but 111 is damn good.

You really like Shoaib Ahktar???

Chai :D
I hope my stomach can take it...

It has been a long while indeed man, and not to mention that we haven't played for months (before BD).
It's good to see that we are still standing strong, though the ICC has put Pakistan on the eighth place in the top ten of cricket-test-match-countries, unbelievable! Such an offence!

Inzi is on his way out I guess. He can't even hit the simple balls anymore...

This Malik person is new to me too, was he part of the team in Bangladesh? This is his first appearance in the team in Sarjah at least, wasn't there during the previous matches.

Shoaib is the best, the saviour of Pakistan, without him we would be nowhere! :D
What's wrong with him? :D

Cricket! Whoah, can't watch it here, but i do check up on it now and then.
Who the hell is this Malik character. Never heard of him.
Sorry i haven't been tracking cricket, What happened to Saeed Anwar??? Where is he, he is da best.

The cricket team has changed so much, of the old guys only Younis, Afridi, Inzi.
Where are all the old guys? Update me on the news.

I should ask my buddies in Karachi more about cricket.

BTW one of my friends, he's so good, he's in some cricket club and they travel around the world, playing agaisnt other clubs. He'll probably become a proffesional. :D

It is good to see, Thorin, that you still have time for such games as cricket now that you are a God :p

Saeed Anwar is trying to get back in the team; his daughter died last year I believe :( so he wasn't on the field for some time.
Malik is a new kid on the block, only twenty years. Very impressive work; of course not as good as Shoaib Akhtar :D

Poor Anwar.
Hope he comes back soon.

I still remember few years ago, i was vacationing in Karachi when he got 176 run in the 1 day match.
That was one of the most amazing games ever.
As he hit the ball into the air and was about to be caught, the electricity went out (typical).
That game was great.

World CUp's next year right?

I hope so. He will be facing some stiff competition though as almost every cricket player in Pakistan will be vying for the coach's favor now with the World Cup coming up

I believe Anwar set the record for most runs in a 1day game in that game. I forget who it was against.

Getting memories of cricket.

I didn't get too see 1999 World Cup becaues there's no coverage in the US. Saw the 1996 World Cup.

Infact me and my friend and older brother went and saw the S.Africa and West Indies match, quaterfinal. (the world cup was in India/Pakistan). We also saw anther one, can't remember who was in it.

Also got autograph of some Pakistan team players on some cap somewhere.

Tendulker is still the best batter in One day. Ahh i want to squash him :D

Also read auto biography of Imran Khan and some guy from West Indies, forget who he was.
My fav non-Pakistani player probably Mark Waugh. He was amazing in 1996 World Cup.

In 1999 we had Zee TV on the cable here in Holland, so we could pretty much follow the entire World Cup on TV! You are lucky you didn't see Pakistan in action during the final against Australia, it was simply horrible, never had we been humiliated like that before ! :D Ever since, I have hated the Australian team, especially Mark Waugh! :D

Now, Zee TV has disappeared behind a decoder, too bad...
:D

Ah Tendulkar! LOL! Simply squashing him is not enough, but I'm too tired now to think of more appropriate tortures for this baboon :D Has there ever been a batsman more overrated than he has been?!

Last month: India vs England : 3 -- 3 . LOL ! Go England go ! :D

Not only did India lose at home, Pakistan defeated India at the Under-19 World Cup in New-Zealand in January this year :D :D
We didn't make it to the finals though :(

Neither did India :D

Never has there been a better time to be a cricket fan! :D
Now the West Indies feel our might! It would be better if the ICC relegates the West Indies back to the sissy league, together with India and Bangladesh :D Cricket is only for professionals. :D :p

Man i missed alot, was too tired.
Now that match where anwar hit the ODI world record as in Bangalore India, against India.
He scored 196, got caught of kumble on the boundary at thrid man.
Yes this is all from memory i love teh damn sport.

Anwar lost his child and thus he has taken a leave of absence.
WOmen cricket?
Bah that isn't cricket, its some cheap thing to get the people bored out of their minds! :D :D

Yeah we are finally out of our rut in cricket. It is great.
But i swear our managers keep changing players like guys change socks.
Imran Nazir whipped WI in 99/00, and he hasn't been given another chance.

I was in Cairo during the world cup.
I show our defeat to AUS live.
Man i could have killed someone then!!!!
Ah the pain, I still feel it.

Can't wait for 2003, we will InshAllah do well.
Another cup would be very nice! :D

But the best match of the 99 cup was against AUs, when Wasim took 2 wcikets on the last ball.
Now that was a nail biter.

Yeah what happend to Akram. He retired too?

Another great game was when Afridi came and smacked like 50 sixers. Well i can't remember what record he set, but it was something quite amazing.

Man, i miss playing cricket on the streets. :(
