Unfortunately, your truly is also a victim :o Since this is not really a clinical psychological problem, I'd suggest we all take a language course at Fable's.
I am considering there might be a connection to my heritage, it is not uncommon for a Welsh person to proliferate their conversations with the statement "well but", the conversation progresses sometimes to the much maligned "well boy'o". This phenomonen began many years ago when a man was trying to explain to the village idiot how to move water from the well to the water butt, "well *points at well* but *points at water butt*" so the village idiot began chanting this mantra over and over again in an effort to remember exactly what he was supposed to be doing.

Soon the craze took off which prompted the great water but incident of 1783, people all around Wales were engaged in water butting and there was legislation adopted proclaiming March 14th 1783 water but day. Ever since people across Wales have enjoyed this past time, safe in the knowledge that they are just the same as the village idiot that spent so many years ridiculed but his one time mantra transcended him to status of hero.

As for Boy'o, i will address that in the next post...

Given that the avatars in question are a drooling cartoon dog with an overlarge tongue and a brunette woman clad in a tight leather catsuit I'm not sure how intelligent we could get... ;) :D :p

The gesture of Boy'o

Many people do not know this but during the 1930's there was what many would discribe as a hip hop revolution in Wales, we had Gangster rap long before the West side, in fact many in the know proclaim that they stole the style almost completely from towns such as Cilmery and Llanfihangel. We had our fair share of automatic pitch forks and men walking around with Wingtip Wellington Boots. The times were tough and the Welsh Indentity of National Cool Enterprise (WINCE) was formed, they formed what was soon to become to toast of the hip hop scene; Wince and the Undergournd Massive.

The controversey they created still reverberates to this day and the mention of WINCE and their Underground Massive automatically gets people reaching for their pitchforks...

Where the term boy'o fits into the tawdry past of Wales is an interesting question. The term Boy'o was one of WINCE's trademark slang terms, in order to know the other members of the groups one would have to know the lingo, the easiest way to tell whether someone was a WINCEr was to walk up to them on the street corner and say "What's up my Boy'o has ye got any hay bales for sale" if they looked at you confused it was a sure sign they were not a WINCEr.

The underground movement caught on and not a day wen't by where they didn't start some trouble or cause a battle over the who owned the key to a combine harvester.

The newly formed local constabulary caught on with a brilliant plan, they decided to make the WINCE a less Cool group so they rounded up all the lords and ladies and got them into the clubs. The history further to this is not pretty... the lords became the cool and then turned it uncool, the kids disolussioned didn't know where to turn, so they took up drinking water...and we all know what happens with that kind of behaviour.

Safe to say the term boy'o is now said by all and is truly anti cool, but if one listens really hard at night you can hear Gangsta rap even as an extra bottle of Evian is sold at the supermarket.
