Well, today's lower division, Busch race concluded today...and it was just as thrilling a finish, as they wrecked coming to the line. Great weekend all around. NASCAR is looking great, going into the most exciting race next week, Bristol.

When all was said and done, and the wrecking stopped, and dust settled, Todd Bodine was the victor.
Winston Cup:
The race started cloudy, and it didnt lighten up any, when Jerry Nadeau spun in 2nd place and burned the tires, creating a cloud of smoke. Slick tires on many caused several problems early, including a spin by rookie, Jack Sprague, and a 7 car wreck going into turn 1, ending the runs for Sterling Marlin, Tony Raines, Kevin Harvick, Bobby Labonte, Todd Bodine, Jimmie Johnson, and Ken Schrader.
The race went green for a while, and Mark Martin appeared to be the dominant car for the long runs. 2nd round of green flag pitstops was interrupted halfway through, as John Andretti got tagged by Jimmy Spencer, causing his tire to explode, damaging the quarter panal, and spin into the wall.
Last round of pitstops occured, but Martin's pit crew missed a lug, he finished 4th.
Jeff Gordon got the lead, but raced Elliott Sadler too hard, he got into the wall and finished 33rd. Elliott Sadler's tires faded, as did he, finished 6th. Kurt Busch, Ricky Craven, and Dave Blaney were the cars that were to battle it out, but Blaney faded and finished 3rd.
2 laps to go, Craven got a run in turn 2 and knocked Busch into the wall, they collided again, and Craven washed up the track.
1 lap to go, going into turn 3, Craven caught up and made a courageous move under Kurt Busch. They went side by side, brushing against eachother on the straightaway...Craven at the line by 3 inches and .002 seconds...the race lasted 3 hours, and all that it came down to was .002 seconds...amazing....
