Of course, it only lasts until post #51, then it is all taken away again

I don't know if you can make your text a permainent colour, but for your avatar, it's in the 'User CP' under Profile Options. The avatar itself has to be either 50x50 pixels, or under 200,000 bytes, whichever is smaller.

Re the pic.....find one you like somewhere, then re-size it to fit. It can't be bigger than 50x50. Once it's re-sized, click on your control panel and add it into your profile.

re color....I think you just have to type it out everytime
