Aye, and still it snows, and still it fails to settle :(

Here it was another unfomfortable hot day. I need wind, or rain, but none comes. I'm sweaty, stinking, the plants need water, and the sheep are indeed suffering these days. temperatures from 32 to 38 degrees the whole month, and only a few rains. Cant sleep well.

We're in the middle of a snowstorm, or what passes for one. :D It's about freezing, and we're expecting accumulations of roughly 12 inches before this is over. It's not uncomfortable out there, but when it stops, temperatures won't be warming enough for the rest of the week to melt anything.

And the Weather Channel has gone offline, not surprisingly, since they're probably being lynched. :p

A rather mild winter, for the standard where I live. Gone are the days of true upper midwestern winters. It just feels like winter is coming all winter.............but then it's spring, a mere 5 weeks away, I might add. As usual, we'll probably get pounded with snow all through March.

Yeah, I'm a bit farther into the cold north, and all the channels have been pushing back the forcast for the snow throughout the day.

It's been snowing in NY where I am too. Went for a walk today to the store in the snow and was fine until suddenly there was a patch of ice on the ground covered up in 1/2" of snow and BOOM on my back. Was not happy...otherwise, I love the snow though. The looks you get by people driving around while walking through blizzards is hilarious. :D

Yesterdaynight, at about 3 am, I made a snowman of about 2 meters in front of the local newspaper's. Haven't read the papers yet though. 'T would be funny. :D

That's really hard to imagine, 'mate' (<--- do the australians actually use that word a lot or is it just another generalized thing)

We got some serious snow here, as Ik already pointed out. I really was surprised when I looked out of my window this morning. First thing I did was making a snowman :D
When it gets cold enough, I don't mind it. I spent a couple of years up near the border of North Dakota and Minnesota, where it's common to hit temperatures of -25 Fahrenheit at night, and never get above -10 F during the day for days, even weeks, in winter. But at that point, there's no moisture, and no wind. You just need to bundle up very carefully. And communities tend to stick together, so everybody throws indoor weekend parties. That's where we first played D&D, around 1982, myself, several orchestra musicians, and a prestigious lawyer. :D
Those winters are gone fable. Haven't had a winter like that in years up here. They just keep getting milder, but we always get pounded with snow in March. Hey, it's March!

The coldest day in Trondheim this year.
It was -16 celsius. But it was even colder in Røros, it was -38,5 celsius.

MORE BLOODY SNOW!

I'm sick of snow now, I don't even like heat and I'm wanting it to be summer or at least a warm spring.
