Fine by me. Pm me your current stats please.

Here's my new stats. Just another question, it said "5+Con this level and 6 next level", does that mean I get 7 now, and 8 next level (14 Con, +2 modifier)? If so, I did the H.P. right, you lost me on your averaging thing with the 5.5 and my having 1d10 with a +2 Con modifier. Don't see how that averages out.

Ok, your hp is ALWAYS going to be 5.5 + your constitution modifier. That means for you, it would be 7.5 every level or 7 on even levels and 8 on odd levels. So yeah, you are correct on how you did that. If you add the numbers on a ten sided dice the add up to 55 and 55 divided by ten = 5.5 thus resulting in average.
EDIT:
As you get back to Quiks, he tells you that the new student has not arrived quite yet. It seems that he is traveling back from
a visit in Mamogras. After that, you and Dosker begin training with your respected tutors. It seems that time passes quicker
when more action is occuring.
On the time that you rest as Ristel trains you, Dosker speaks to you.
"I found out that the fighter's guild that I'm in is one of the most respected ones in the land. They
are associated with all the guilds here in Zielven including your Monks guild. I failed miserably
against what they put me up against. They put me in the arena and I fought an antlion that they use
on all there newcomers. I was pulled out in the knick of time and was saved. I will have to try again
to become a member and I will try later. Right now, I think I'll stick with you as you seem to be a
capable fighter."

Alrighty, I need to change those stats you mentioned in that PM. Check that armor thing for me in the PM I sent you? It should be 15 with armor, 16 with buckler if I'm right.
Magrus says "Sounds like you got the same deal as I did Dosker. They set me up to fight against a monk, unarmed and all. She thrashed me and had me unconscious before I even hit her once! I'm dead set on getting in now, but I need some practice first."

(Reminder: 50 GP payment)
When you finish your training, the both of you, you have the option to do what you wish for now. You can go back to the guilds and try the fights again, or ask if Quik needs anything done, or pretty much anything.

I'll change the gold.
"Lets go see if Quick needs any work done. I don't have the gold to cover the cost to join up at the guild and I don't fancy another beating so soon. What do you say Dosker?"

Fine by me.
You two go up to quiks area and ask if he needs anything in particular done for him. He says that he could use a couple of scrolls, but this town doesn't have one.
"I need you to go to Mamogras and go into the Wizards guild. Ask for a couple of legend lore scrolls once you get there. The building has a big sign that says Arcanum institute on it and you can't miss it. Here is the money needed for it and here is a little gold for yourselves as an advance."
(he hands you the appropriate amount for the scroll and 450 for you and dosker each.)

"Thank you Master Quik. We'll head out shortly."
*************************************
We've already done the downtime and everything for the leveling right? If so, I say we rest, then head out. I'm going to leave 100 gold in my room, just in case as well if something happens on the road.

That's cool
_______
"Take your time," he says. "I need to do some things to get set up anywayand plus, you have that orb with you so you can teleport back here once you get travel to Mamogras."
(Dosker tells you it will take about 20 days on foot and suggests we buy some horses at the local stable. That will make it about 15 days with a light horse which is only 75 gold.)
(Out of game: I will be implementing rules of random encounters now, so give me some time to do up a chart. It'll take me about 5 minutes.)

Sounds great. I'll update my equipment sheet then, although, I don't have any ride skill.

Ride is not needed unless it is used during stressful moments.
EDIT: Ok, ready now. Buying horses?

No worries.
As you dismount a wolf appears before you. This immense grey wolf seems as big as a horse. It has fiery eyes and a thick coat of fur.
The wolf charges forward towards Dosker and bites him in his chest. It is your turn.
