For me, Pantera falls somewhere between "Not that interested" and "Listenable". Okay music I think, but nothing that makes me jumping around when their tracks are played. And yes, I have couple of their tracks in my playlist, though my playlist is so long those hardly ever get played
Oh, bought good album again, "Reawakening" from The Berzerker. Quite similiar with the albums "Animosity" and "World of Lies", perhaps even a bit resemblance with their first self-titled album. Some weird tracks, especially the first one, but if you get over those it's very good grind metal album.
The only bad thing is you can't find it from stores, you must buy it from the band's website...

Bumping this thread to give out some finds I have made, and to request some suggestions.
So here are some interesting bands and albums I have to since last post:
Declaration of Perdition by Abhordium: Finnish death metal (I think, it's quite different in style) band, and as far as I know they have just made their first album during the summer. I suggest to listen it first before buying (if by any chance you even find it anywhere) as it's not traditional in style, and may be too much for somebody.
Old production from Sentenced. Basically this consists of three albums: Shadows of the Past (published 1991), North from Here (published 1993) and Amok (published 1995). Old school death metal. The style of singing changes a bit between the two first album, as the original singer, Miika Tenkula, sang only in the first album, after that Taneli Jarva took the job. Both were excellent singers at that time, sadly Tenkula died earlier this year and Jarva has basically destroyed his voice (bad mouths say he did that with whiskey and alcohol in general).
Undead Indeed by Tarot: Very nice live DVD from Tarot, recorded here in Finland couple of years ago. I remember all the DVD contains subtitles, so you don't have to have dictionary around to understand all the comments between the songs. I really recommend this to those who like the music of Tarot, but never saw them live.
All albums from Poisonblack: Finnish heavy metal band, singer is ex-singer of Sentenced, Ville Laihiala. Rasping voice fits the melancholy themes of their music very well. Basically the music of Poisonblack is continue to Sentenced (the later parts, when they moved to clean vocals and took Laihiala as singer). Very good band with very good albums.
Anyone knows any good harder heavy metal, death metal, grind core or black metal bands worth of checking? Doesn't matter if the band is a bit unknown to the big audience, as one local music shop, which is dedicated to the heavier music, has very good contacts to around the world and is ready to order even the albums of very unknown bands if he is just able to.
