Depends upon the Vodka/coke ratio.
I prefer having it so thecola masks the taste of the vodka, but that's just me.

Oh, it's always there all right, but thankfully it only comes as an aftertaste if you get the mix right.
Jim Beam and that lemon Lift stuff go really nicely together too.

Well sometimes the tasting can be a pain, is the thing. I think the best combination for optimum fun is this order.
1: get wasted.
2: Then, using drunk logic, experiment.
3: Get more wasted, and potentially
3a: the tasting.
Note that step 3a is dependent upon step 2. This sequence is also the same for S.S.S.I.s
