Characters performing illogical or dangerous acts might be viewed with suspicion by the other characters. :o

For those less fortunate....we have all kinds of new experiences in store :D

LOL Just chalk it up to "learning experiences" :D
Seriously, DW has a good point, some of us have plans in place which should be solidifying soon :)

OK, I'll just stick to to reacting to whatever shows up then... :) Let me know if I mess anything up or if you want my char to do some precise action.

Can your character do a back flip? :D :p

She could at least try to ... but I can't guarantee succes :D

Anyway, where are we headed exactly, I'm a bit left in the dark over here ...

edit: Let me rephrase this: Help I'm lost! :D

Where are we going to? Are we taking the same tunnel as Aegis? What is Aegis up to and is there any encounter scheduled?

Good point...

@Aegis, can we backtrack a little? I am not so sure heading of alone is in the best interests of the party...or yourself for that matter - we are on hostile ground...and you being discovered could put the rest at risk...better we stick together don't you think? :) Also, I had pictured that we were a fair way behind Jerrenn yet...just my thoughts ;)

@Mysteria: My post about Aegis taking the wrong tunnel was mostly just a joke, and he may chose to ignore it at will. :D That post was also an opportunity to have someone say "By Golly, Gwally!" - I've always wondered why no ever says that..... :p

Concerning Aegis, he evidently has his own plans, and if he ends up at the Abomination, (where we are going), so much the better. I'm sure the tunnel system is extensive with lots of loops and interconnections. He'll find his way. In fact, he may be just ahead of us.... I think I see him now. No, wait. Its just a Mustard Jelly that looks like him. Yikes! A Mustard Jelly? Who brought the ham, cheese, and bread? :D

So, agian, we are heading toward the Abomination. Aegis is heading wherever he wants. My post was mainly a joke. Sorry for the confusion. :)

Next he'll be writing in a teen male wearing a mask a pair of tights and a cape, with all manner of little toys in his belt for the two of them to play with. :p :D

I don't know if we need to back-track. Aegis taking off on his own might provide an interesting twist to this and future stories (how would the rest feel about someone who flaked-out on them and raised a premature alarm?) :o

Gosh, I hope he doesn't run into a Shambling Mound all by himself... or worse: A vampire! :D

I picture the tunnels as a massive system with lots of interconnections. Jerren and Anicka may be ahead of us, behind us, to the side, below, above... who knows? :)

Considering Jerren's current mood, I'm not sure I would want to run into him if I were Aegis.... :p :o

@Gwally - have you been on the elfwine again? :D :p

And I am not so convinced that Aegis going alone is the wise thing to do *shrugs* especially with Mysteria's wolf! :D

And that is the last thing we need - the DF fighting among themselves! :D

on aegis

I'm with Ysh re: actions of aegis. I find it foolhardy at best that one member would venture forth solo. It doesn't even seem the rest of the DF have mentally regrouped since emerging through the portal. Such actions put the entire group in danger and definitely himself in a world of trouble. Maybe I'm too new to be so critical but these actions are a good dungeon master's dream. :D

Additionally, it surprises me that mysteria was so willing to let fang go with him. As it is playing out right now, it seems aegis has gone to play the role of rogue more than scout.

Otherwise, I'm posting shortly. My actions might stir some a bit so if there is a conflict, voice it here or by PM.

I agree entirely......especially given that Aegis is partially blinded.....

Oh, I'm not saying that it was particularly wise of him. I'm thinking more along the lines of Ned when he says it is a DM's dream. Imagine the reception Aegis will receive if he really does raise the alarm? This has all the story-telling elements of a good horror flick - Never go to the kitchen alone and Never say 'I'll be right back!' :D

Hmm.. I knew I forgot to say something before I left.. :D

Don't worry, I am staying true to the scout thing, as I have no intentions of walking into the room that was just fireballed (You'll understand in my next post)
