The garout are assassins. Yeah they are evil.
My view on assasins: they are a tool. A tool can be used for good and evil. good that doesnt hire adventurers to assasinate an oponent will soon be extinct. Its just the name: assasin or adventurer. Yuck, deep sh*t

"I don't like going up against mages, they could wipe us out fast. Yet....if we got our hands on some powerful items, Cassie could use them to wipe out the fighters. I'm torn on the issue."

"Rogues usually have decent items. Bards usually rely on defense so rings and amulets could be there. Rangers, I know a lot of rangers. They have items that make it easy to track people and walk on unstable surfaces like sand."

"perhaps we should investigate the cities and their surroundings first?"

Magrus laughs and says "You just want to touch me missy."
"Hmm, I say mages. A few magic items for our group wizard will make the rest a cakewalk."

"An investigation first, though, I think."
(Also, scrolls out the wazoo there.)

"Too true. But mages require, planning by us and surprise to them"

"They may be intelligent, but if we silence them then they will not be able to cast most spells. I am sure you know how to silence," dosker asks Oskatat.

"Indeed, teamwork will be key. Dosker and I can hammer away at them while you two spell-casters keep their spells off of us. What do you say? One tough rout to get a easy ride through a few others?"

"Yes, but it is limited as many mages want to remain unheard and train at casting siletn spells. My other spells will be less succesfull too."

"I don't really remember running into any other mages in my years of wondering."

"Would you rather pick a different target for now?"

"the profession of mage (wizard/sorcerer) is a rare one since one has to cope with superstition and other dampers as well as a literaly murderous competition, oft times."

"If we pick the warrior blackwinters, I know of a few spells that might help us."
"Would you rather pick a different target for now?"
"If we get most of them within a 24 hur limit, it is easy as none will have specific spells ready, only general. The trick is how to do so."
