@ Ysh - Oh, cattle. Pleasant thoughts. But, would *you* let a group of adventurers pass the place you were told to protect if they offered you cow dung? Sorry, but I think I might shoot for a sacrafice with a little bit more value... :D
If I was plant matter, I am sure I might consider fertiliser a decent source of complex carbohydrates and fibre :D and if my master had abandoned me, what motivation would I have to protect an area I cared little for? What if the shambling mound has a tendency to want to eat when depressed?? abandoned with an unknown lifespan is pretty depressing :D

I just bet the Abomination's tendencies (to ravage the landscape, turning everying to rot and decay) are somewhat at odds with the Mound's tendancies, which may include rot and decay, but only to the extent that they sustain life....

Well, I really don't know any walking, breathing plants, so I can't say that I know what a Mound might like as an offering. I'm leaving it up to you now...**quitely sneaks away**

Wow, Ysh! You hit 5,300 posts! :p ;) :D Congrats!

@ Gwally -

Oh, dear. I wonder what Flanders has to say about having a skeleton as a secret admirer...But then again, I guess they are at the same level here. ;) :D

By the way, where have I heard about Crimson Rhodelias before...?

I'll edit if Ned doesn't like my post.

You'll have to play the Anomen romance in BG2 - SoA (or read the Anomen thread) to learn about the flower.... :p

Oh, yeah! When I read your explanation I literally smacked myself. You-re right about one thing -- they grow in the oddest places. If I recall correctly, Anomen found my flower in Firkraag's Lair, just before the grand fight. :D

I can't believe I forgot that...Where has my memory gone?...I better go steal some of Ysh's Jamesons to try to recouperate!

They grow in the slums too... I don't think they're rare at all, I reckon Anomen was just trying to impress my PC... in fact, there's probably no such thing as a crimson rhodelia... :D

I still get a kick out of the line "Do you always go around picking flowers, Anomen?" <-- THAT is my favorite line in the entire game!

I know, Georgi! How rare can they be?...Unless, he bought one from that black market thief selling "herbs" in the City Gates and just carried it around for the heck of it, waiting for the right time to say what was on his mind...

At least he gives you something better in ToB though. :D

What does he give you in ToB?

Well, he gives you Moira's favored ring and asks you to marry him. It's so sweet... ;) :D

Awwww. That is pretty sweet. Especially for a guy who dresses in pink and white. :p

I quite like the line when you first meet him: "Why do you sound like someone out of a bad romance novel?" or something :D
At least he gives you something better in ToB though.
And I thought you were talking about his promising to serve you in mind, in heart, and especially in body... :D :o ;)

I remember. It was "How did you get that wierd accent? To many romance novels?" Or maybe that's not right...Okay, I don't remember. :o :D

That's another good one!

It was pretty dramatic, though, when you went to fight off the ghosts to find that creature who knew how to kill Yaga-Shura in the abandoned temples. I never heard him swear that loud...Jeeze! And I had kids running around the house with my volume cranked up, too... :o :p :D

I don't really remember either... it's amusing though. The best thing is that if you have a female PC, he frowns a bit but lets you get away with it... if a male PC takes that option, he gets annoyed and won't join the party. :D

LOL :D Well, he always did have a bit of an attitude problem... :D

Well, I guess if you're dating the future Goddess of Murder and Death, well, you gotta have at least one bad part in ya... :D :p

Well, you know what I mean. I can't believe I gave up immortality...but heck...Who could leave him after his proposal and everything? I'll admit, I used to date several guys at a time when I was younger, but, this is a guy that you feel awful if you'd break his heart...Oh, god, I'm in love with a computer-generated charactor! :o  :D :p

I just love the ending plot line for the romance, too... :D **dreamy sigh, followed by kids running around the house breaking all sorts of formerly-pretty house decors** Yeah, I wish...
