Yeah. No one seems anxious to play the game, but in the past, when I was a young and inexperienced on the net and forums, the first game I played was a hangman type game like this, and I had plenty of fun. Its not so easy as one might think, because if you fill in the letters, you give EVERYONE the advantage, and youve used up your turn. And theres a lot of figuring out what words to fit the blanks.
Blah. You must be quite bored. Uh...erm...no offense to the DFs of course.
I heard the Canucks are doing quite well and did you hear about the Senators filing for bankruptcy?

Hangman is a classic
BTW - The Canucks are doing the best they've done in a decade...I think they might be ready for a long run in the playoffs, however I doubt they'll win the Cup.
And, yeah I heard about the Sens. It's a shame, because they're top in the Eastern Conference at the moment, but ticket prices turn the fans off (they're expensive because the players are payed in American funds), and it's easier to watch on TV. It also kind of sucks because Canada might lose another franchise (Winnapeg and Quebec lost theirs and became Phoenix and Colorado).
BTW - aren't the NFL playoffs soon?

Agreed!
You never know. Sometimes the quiet good teams are those that excel majorly in the playoffs and take home the cup. If it wasnt for teams like the Red Wings, who are always good, Id put my money on the Canucks. If you win that many games, youre not a fluke.
Yeah. I like there being multiple countries in all sports. I remember. The Winnepeg Jets and the Quebec Nordiques. Those franchises should have toughed it out. But what can you do?
I think baseball should have teams from Mexico join MLB, have teams from the Carribean join, I think travelling would be a slight issue, but Im sure just about every major leaguer would love to play against a team in the Bahamas or Aruba.
I think the NFL should expand north of the border. Canada shares some interest in football, why not expand, so that when they can truly call themselves "WORLD" champions.
NFL playoffs are one week old, and go to the 26th.
GO EAGLES!

Before I go I'll say this: I completely agree with you about the multi-country leagues. It'd certainly make for interesting world competitions....maybe even the Olympics

**outside the tavern the sound of an approaching chopper is heard, followed faintly by the "Ride of the Valkyries" by R. Wagner**
**Moments later the door bursts open and a gnarled hunchback in full combat gear rolls in while shouting "hut hut" under his breath**
HEY - I'm back !
**gets up, looks around**
Ahem - anybody - ANYBODY here ??
**looks embarassed**
Maybe I shouldn't have spent the ast few days playing "Soldier of Fortune 2" , then....

Hi @Tam !
Not so bad - I have chosen the FRIDAY as my first day at work to ease back into my routine with the weekend "just ahead"

....
I'm still trying to focus on my work though....

.... I will NEVER really become a "workaholic"....

.
How's life down under ?

Life is cool, especially with it being summer and all. Finally gotten bored of the beach though and I also wrote up the first
part of my most recent expedition. I may of taken too many pictures, still waiting for them to be developed...
EDIT- I must run, weekend has started early down here.

We'll catch up another time

"bored of the beach".....

....
We have aprox. -10°C around here and between 50cm and 100cm of snow - depending on the winds...

. I would
really like to be somewhere WARM now....
