so I've started over in BG1 and going to go through it then BG2 again. But homework is making it hard to have time to play

I have been meaning to do that. Also been meaning to try to solo once, just for the heck of it. Of course I also meant to become a rock star.........

I think the former goals are better than the latter goal. Though, the latter might be more profitable.

I've completed IWD, and now I've started a new game in Heart of Fury mode and imported my character that I just used to solo through IWD.

SS, you have inspired me......and not just by the sight of your legs on the ladder....though they are magnificent but by you tale of soloing.

Therefore, I will retire to sleep now, and prepare myself to begin to solo.

Ahhh, it's good to be back. I've been to HELL and BACK!

Somehow I got it into my head to download the Wizardry 8 Demo. In the middle of the download, my computer inexplicably froze. I think it was terrified by all the screaming bunnies in the room. I restarted while the computer was still writing to the hd. Totally screwed my hd--disk write errors, oodles of corrupted file clusters...finally had to reformat the damn thing.

BS--I'm ready for a good stiff drink. What do you recommend?

How about a.... home made mix?

Do you know what, i had the same thing happen to me last night, i am fortunate to have two machines so i didn't loose any data, but i installed Medal of Honour demo, tried it twice, both times it caused me to reset, then suddenly i have to re-install system.ini, i do that, then get back into windows, everything is gliched, so i have to format my machine....Grrr....

I am always nrevous about installing demos for any games. Especially the ones that come in those magazines. I have had 2 or 3 crash my system in the past, and I guess I am paranoid now.

Ya, I should have looked at the red light that indicates the puter is writing to the hd before restarting. Then I had to talk for 3 hours to my little brother, who bawled me out constantly for playing games, said I should never install ANY games ever, and that all gamers are a**holes. (I did point out to him that I've called him a couple of times when he's been playing Unreal...but that went in one ear and out the other--he also loves his xbox.) For some reason now that he could not figure out, sound blaster is now conflicting with my usb network card, and I have to unplug it and replug it in every time I reboot or the card is disabled. Weird, huh...

@Rob-hin: Thanx for the drink...hope the side effects aren't as severe as Ned's concoction. I'm still tormented by rude little bunnies.
