that's true, but what if it gets shortened down to cut out any un-necessary crap? and you can puase it at point to continue watching later if for some reason you're bored IRL.

Interesting... most interesting. No guarantee its KOTOR related, mind, or even Star Wars related. Who knows, it could be Outlaws 2.czone wrote:For the ones who didn't know yet, lucasarts and bioware are working on a game

i respect your opinion in terms of available platforms, but i disagree with it. unless they put it on PS2, i think they should put it out to PC again, jsut as they have. i REALLY don't feel like going out to a store to buy a 360 just to play 1 or 2 games.Sithlord1989 wrote:First off, and I hope the creators of the next installment of the K.O.T.O.R. are reading this, because most of the posts I read from various forums they all say the same thing "do not put the game on the PC, keep it on the XBOX".Which I personally agree with, because I am a fan of the first two games.I would like to be able to play the game on my XBOX instead of having to worry whether my computer meets the requirement to just start the game and then I would have to get stuck paying a rediculous monthly fee when on the XBOX I just start it up and play.If they make KOTOR III an online game it will probably turn out like Star wars Galexies. I only hope that they have read this and understand from the consumer's standpoint. As for the the story in the game that is for the designers to decide as long as it doesn't lose the gaming experience that was present in the earlier games. The two things I could find fault with were the long wait for the screen to load and that there were not enough planets used in each game!
I understand what you are saying maybe if they absolutly have to change something about the platform maybe they could release it for the playstation 2, and the XBOX.But I stand by my opinion that it should not become a online game.Darth Valthri wrote:i respect your opinion in terms of available platforms, but i disagree with it. unless they put it on PS2, i think they should put it out to PC again, jsut as they have. i REALLY don't feel like going out to a store to buy a 360 just to play 1 or 2 games.
i entirely agree with your statements about online gameplay, but it'd still be fun nonetheless.
and your last 2 points (about load-screens and planets)? i didn't find the load screens all that long, to be honest. frequent, yes, but not all that long individually. agreed on the number of planets. K2 was way too short and had too few planets. and in the navigation charts, if they have another incident in which a planet is destroyed (ie. Peragus), then remove the damn thing, imo. what's the point of having it if you can't go to it...?
As in my my first post I will stick to my opinion that the story is up to the designers as long as it doesn't lose the feel to it.But the other things you have listed would drastically improve the game alot, but they should deffinatly include more planets.Maybe they should include a planet where you could run your own sith/jedi academy like on korriban only you run it, that would be interesting.ALL HAIL THE SITH!!!Darth Visaira wrote:- I think the story line should be a little less straight foward depending what side you chose. The reason i say that is because either you are sith or jedi you still are doing pretty much the same things.
- More charecter creation option. I say this because i want my charecter to reflect me in real life and i cant really do that in I and II.
- More color lightsabers and options.
- More ships. Also Controlabel.
- Creaturs you can ride.
- Bigger planets. Fly to diffrent parts on the planet. (planets are big and you can only explore small parts in II and I)
Dont they usally come out for both X-Box and PC? Also if they are going to make the game online they should have a stroy line that is not online, but can be done with other players.Darth Valthri wrote:i respect your opinion in terms of available platforms, but i disagree with it. unless they put it on PS2, i think they should put it out to PC again, jsut as they have. i REALLY don't feel like going out to a store to buy a 360 just to play 1 or 2 games.

If they made it just for th PC as a Online game with the option to play offline it would turn out more like Diablo II than Star Wars.Maybe this time they will release it for the PC,XBOX like before, because of all the people opposed to the online idea.Darth Visaira wrote:Dont they usally come out for both X-Box and PC? very true on the storyline. what's the point of giving people creds or killing them if you still complete your objective anyway? it does need a bit of alteration. i also agree on character creation, but mostly because it gives me the feeling that i'm in control of my character. "yay, i can choose which head i want, and that's about it..."Darth Visaira wrote:- I think the story line should be a little less straight foward depending what side you chose. Well if it were for the X-Box they could have online on X-Box Live right? Im not saying that i want it like that im jus saying it might be kind of cool to have a good online game for X-Box.Sithlord1989 wrote:If they made it just for th PC as a Online game with the option to play offline it would turn out more like Diablo II than Star Wars.Maybe this time they will release it for the PC,XBOX like before, because of all the people opposed to the online idea.
The main problem I have with online gameplay is having to pay the monthly fees.As for the XBOX live I dont play games like that "too complicated".Darth Visaira wrote:Well if it were for the X-Box they could have online on X-Box Live right? but how in the name of *tries to think of a word or name that wouldn't be blasphemous, but fails* would you get to lvl 99, unless they have another glitch in the game like they did in K2 with the Hssiss (Ludo's tomb)? and what would you do after you beat the game anyway? you'd have basically killed everyone that's killable (excluding civilians and such that would cause you to go DS).Sithlord1989 wrote:Maybe they should design the game like Obivion, you know the go anywhere,be anyone you want, own multiple houses, and level up to 99 type game.So you could get more involved in the Star Wars universe, but they would have to put more planets, races, quests ect. into the game than any other Star Wars game to date. This way the game would not end when you complete the main quest. That would be Groundbreaking and would attract new fans to Star Wars.
Well the game would be so massive with so many quests you would not have any need for glitchs. As for the Ds/Ls thing you could start out as either one and when you are done you could start over and play it through the other way opening up different quests, people, and possibly worlds.Sounds like it would still have the KOTOR gameplay because of the Ds/Ls option.Beleive me it could take you awile to finish the game unless you stay up 24-7 which would not make much sense since you are trying to get the most out of the game.I hope this answers your question.Darth Valthri wrote:but how in the name of *tries to think of a word or name that wouldn't be blasphemous, but fails* would you get to lvl 99, unless they have another glitch in the game like they did in K2 with the Hssiss (Ludo's tomb)? and what would you do after you beat the game anyway? you'd have basically killed everyone that's killable (excluding civilians and such that would cause you to go DS).
The two problems you'll face with this are a) what do you do with characters that would be dead, had certain choices been made in K1, and b) how do you introduce Revan to players who have no prior experience of the game? I'd be interested to know your ideas for this.avkhatri123 wrote:My choices
*I really hope the developers read this
(the first one is the most important to me)
*Play as Revan again and also bring back EVERY single character from the first Knights of the Old Republic. ( it would be cool if you could just choose what your alignment was and what characters were with you throughout the first game so it makes sense) Just because Malak was killed doesn't mean that Revan's part of the story is over I wanna see Bastila, Carth, and the rest of them. I think the developers should stick to the originals to give the game more of a KOTOR feeling. (KOTOR 2 completely killed this series in my opinion). It does not have to bee only 9 party members. Bring back the originals and add some new ones. (heck the Exile could manage to fit in somewhere).
